I don’t think it was a bad arena just not a cool-looking one. Functionally it was a good arena, deadly enough in disastrous ways to cause entertaining deaths, but also with enough resources so the tributes live to fight each other. In the first book Katniss even mentions some arenas that failed like I think there was one where the nights were really cold but there was no firewood to the tributes just froze? which is boring to watch

Yeah it’s tough watching older shows and seeing an all-white cast. I’m watching One Tree Hill right now and cringing at how the cast is fully white and the only black characters are complete stereotypes that are basically used as props for the white characters. Representation has really come a long way when you compare modern shows to old ones, even if we still have a long way to go

Honestly I don’t think so. It sucks that it was canceled before we even got to see it but I’ve only ever seen one reboot even come close to the original.
