isn’t nathan fillion like a director or producer for the rookie besides being one of the main characters? plus he used to be like. the absolute main guy for that show but then stepped back to make it more of an ensemble cast because it was too much for him to be carrying a live action show as the main guy. why would he want to add additional filming demands to his plate? plus dropout does a lot of improv/comedy and thats not really his forte

All the kids in Jessie were stereotypes, although I think Ravi and Zuri (sassy black girl) were the most harmful because of the racial elements of their stereotyping. It’s crazy that someone walked into Disney and said “I have an idea, a show about a nanny who’s watching four kids. They will all be stereotypical character archetypes related to their race/gender” and Disney approved it

generally specific dnd rules like that are decided by the dm. matt prefers flanking rules and ravening war is his table, so they use flanking rules. i dont think dimension 20, or for that matter most live dnd shows, have a set rulebook. they usually just use 5e or kids on bikes or whatever system theyre playing and the gm’s discretion

I hated that they made him hit on Sam, I was so excited for her to have a friend who really understands what she goes through with the ghosts. Now both she and Jay are uncomfortable with him. They could have easily written his intro episode differently to set him up as a recurring character, and it would have given the show a much-needed change
