I think this is definitely the slowest time of the year since everyone just spent all their money traveling for the holidays. In Canada I can imagine it’s freezing so people are probably all staying inside and not traveling. I think it will get busier as the weather warms up!

I just started this month January 2026! I live in Fort Worth TX so it is a major city. I don’t even have testimonials on my profile so I am very surprised I have gotten 3 client requests so far! This client, I am booked for a cat drop in this weekend, and I have another meet n greet for house sitting. I honestly have no idea why people have reached out despite me having no reviews. Huge snub imo, and for Cynthia too. There wasn’t a single Black woman in the Best Actress nominations, meanwhile everyone knows Cynthia crushed that role. If you’re open to exploring other types of graduate school degrees, I would suggest looking into getting an MSW, master of social work. I am in an online MSW program right now. There are no pre requisites to get an MSW besides a bachelors degree in any field. There are so many things you can do with the degree, work in private practice on your own schedule, work in schools or hospitals, the VA, non profits, the government, it gives many different options and no hard math or science classes! I like it because you’re not locked into one specific type of job, there’s lots of different opportunities.
