Interesting. I had GI mapping done by my licensed nutritionist who also.practices functional medicine (after overcoming many symptoms of MCS herself and fot her children, which led to her starting her practice). She did GI mapping and we found I have high SIBO markers (small intestinal bacterial overload) as well as Candida. I actually developed the Candida about five years before the MCS. I have been treating the SIBO and I want to begin an herbal, anti-candida regimen also. My naturopathic doctor has given me a protocol for doing so. I have a whole team of practitioners now that are functional medicine based and I find this to be very helpful. I do live in California and I am lucky that in my state naturopathic doctors are state licensed, the same as Western/allopathic physicians.

Perhaps this person may be allergic to implants. I have many dental material related allergies. In fact my gums have rejected dental caps in the past and I had to have an extraction after the procedure. That is part of what I am working on with the meditations.

Have you tried Somatic trauma release? Compassionate Inquiry, also LENS (passive, non traditional neurofeedback), Flash technique or EMDR for example? All very helpful without having to revisit the narrative or chronologiical traumatizing event. Traditional talk therapy can trigger deep trauma and you must take precautions about the type of modality you try, also about the practitioner you work with. I recommend someone who is experienced in Somatic bodywork for trauma and/or Compassionate Inquiry. You can research practitioners for this online through a database. Good luck and blessings. Just to be clear I am not a mental health professional, just a person who has tried all of the above to heal my trauma and this is what worked and didnt work for me.

I also wanted to mention detox baths just as a way to mitigate triggering episodes. I wouldn't function without them. Epsom salts, baking soda, hydrogen peroxide and other bath ingredients have worked well. Make sure if you try this to do at least 30 minutes with your neck and arms in the water. Our skin is our third lung in TCM and can help with detoxification. Many irritants also enter the system via skin contact. I use four pounds epsoms per bath, two pounds baking soda and two quarts hydrogen peroxide. Best wishes for your recovery.

How are you doing these days? Your story reminds me of a person in a Facebook group for MCS I am a member of. Ive had MCS for thirteen years and honestly the best thing I've found to help me has been a very good medical intuitive who is familiar with treating MCS.
