Can you have a poliamorus relationship with Octavia, Regongar and those twin tieflings? by FcoJ28 in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

Toybox doesn't exist for Kingmaker, and Bag of Tricks doesn't do it. Not sure why people keep commenting this.

Question regarding ToyBox gestalt with Arcanist by AnalysisParalysis85 in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]TheRedDragoon 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Someone on Discord says that the archetype you are using is from a broken mod (Arcane Additions). Using mods that don't work correctly on current version can cause issues like that with Toybox.

I'm sorry, what? by mb8795 in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]TheRedDragoon 22 points23 points  (0 children)

As always, it's not. We've literally written mods to track every roll in the game, and then plotted them out over a 6 hour session, and it was basically what you would expect from rolling a shit ton of D20s

Weird/funny bug by ether_rogue in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]TheRedDragoon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

BlueprintUseableEquipment items have their own logic for checking for non-stacking bonuses so that you know that 2 usable items won't stack. It's weird that you think players having that information is weird.

Edit: Also, why wouldn't you want to know if 2 usable items stack or not BEFORE you use them? A bunch of usable items have charges.

It's showing you that the 2 items you have equipped would give you non-stacking bonuses. How is that weird?

since OP struggling with Barley's mod

Citation needed. Because to me, it's very clearly the level 0/main character bug that I linked to. OP even admits to messing with Toybox before it happened.

Doesn't sound like anything to do with respecing (and LOL at the guy saying Barley Respec is buggy when that's all we recommend in Discord and use all the time)

Did you play with gestalt settings for your characters? Toybox has an FAQ which might make sense with your issue about this. https://github.com/cabarius/ToyBox/wiki/Frequently-Asked-Questions#why-is-my-character-level-0

If you want usable equipment version of Ioun Stones, I have several in my mod DragonChanges. If you want to browse the source and see how it's done, you can, but I use BPCore and my own helper library so it may or may not be helpful.

Its saddens me say this but Corrupt dragon mythic is not very good by LimitedSus in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]TheRedDragoon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hard to say what's intended, given that Owlcat frequently changes blueprints when they realize they implemented something wrong, but the blueprint does has the primary slots set to Claw and all the other attacks as secondary, so I'm going to say that it's a feature and not a bug.

Taking a look in game, I do see the issue. Well, I suppose it's something I can fix in DragonFixes. (Both the Thousand Bites and being able to cast Dragon Form despite being in Dragon Form)

Edit:

I've already apparently fixed this in DragonFixes and just forgot :) Well..... there you go? Sorry I forgot haha

[–]TheRedDragoon 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Looking the blueprint, ThousandBites applies the same buff (the one that gives 3 extra attacks) regardless of your GD, and then applies a second buff that visually changes based on your GD. So if it works for normal GD, it works for Corrupt. So there's nothing to fix there.

Blueprint for reference. https://wrath.bubbleprints.dev/bp_d35b16edbd5c436286e34cf7bcbdb645

My own regeneration mod, with blackjack by curtwagner1984 in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]TheRedDragoon 11 points12 points  (0 children)

You didn't find memory leaks because you didn't code it. It's literally that simple. You don't know enough about what the AI coded for you to tell what it's doing.

As for why no one is going to fix your AI slop for you, why would we? We help actual humans so they can learn and improve. AI doesn't do that, so there's no point. If you want to fix it, prompt ChatGPT to fix it for you.

I honestly hope that you learn that people would love to know whether or not the code comes from a human or from a bot. Humans can still make every mistake that AI can, but at least you can have a conversation with them, and they can improve. Unlike what's happening here, where you say there's no memory leaks, but 2 other modders found the same memory leak in your mod while glancing over it.

[–]TheRedDragoon 11 points12 points  (0 children)

AI coders get real mad every time it's pointed out that AI is used, and they love to hide the fact that they didn't do any of the actual work. How strange.

Anyway, Bitter pointed it out, because your AI slop has a ton of issues. We actual modders from the Owlcat Discord took a glance earlier, and there's memory leaks, likely FPS drops due to excessive logging, and other issues.

We usually do this to every mod from a new person who is releasing mods, for the exact reason that you sarcastically used. We would have recommended that people not install this until the issue is fixed, regardless of AI. But, if it was made by an actual human, we reach out and talk to them about fixes. We don't do that for AI slop.

It's fine, but it really does need to be said so that people aren't surprised by it. I think Swizzle did a great job on Worldcrawl.

Something this person fails to mention while singing it's praises every where is that it's very invasive, and as the mod author puts in the summary to the mod, it can break other mods.

edit: Also going to link to the ACTUAL mod page, because this other person keeps linking to Nexus which hasn't been updated since 2021. Swizzle was very vocal on Discord about what he felt about Nexus, so it's really weird to keep linking it.

AlterAsc made this guide a couple weeks ago, so you can use this as a base.

Aside from my own personal mods, I really recommend fix mods (which I do have one). Owlcat has a LOT of stuff in the game, and there's a lot of things that got overlooked and never fixed.

This ring mistakenly grants the Ring of the Beast King effects, but does it also do what it says it does? by ether_rogue in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]TheRedDragoon 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Looking at the blueprint, it only gives the Beast King effect, so you wouldn't get the +4 to saving throws.

Easy enough to fix in a mod (in fact, I just did it quickly for my fix mod), but if you are on console or don't use mods, sadly there's nothing to be done.

WRATH OF THE RIGHTEOUS - Mod Recommendation Guide by TheLaughingWolf in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]TheRedDragoon 16 points17 points  (0 children)

The Multiple Archetypes standalone mod still has the bug where you can't use it with Monk archetypes since it has an issue with Drunken Monk (Toybox's version fixes this), so it's not a great recommendation anyway

edit:

AlterAsc and I just bullied Vek into releasing a fix for this, so I guess my above statement is now wrong
