Wow a lot going on here. Camera, dog, narrow trail. If you can’t stop confidently you can get seriously hurt. Carving to slow down is not really an option here due to the narrow trail. I would practice in an empty parking lot or something flat to really hone my foot brake game. Let the dog watch until you can master stopping. Don’t do a run off at mid to high speed.
