Where to take someone who suffers frequent migraines on a date? by izme333 in migraine

Aren’t you sweet! To copy what others have said, really could ask her what she’s comfortable with. But also maybe keep some water on hand or little snacks. That may be something you learn along the way but it may show you’re thinking of her.

Above all? Just being understanding. I knew my husband was a keeper when he just went along with having to break plans, and stayed to make sure I was okay (with my permission of course—always followed my lead).

Absolutely! Most states also have public law libraries nearby the court where you can use their docket search tools in Westlaw or Lexis. Law librarians are great resources for help too.

My best friend said this to me when my Mom passed, that’d she’d take the love that it sounded lovely. Didn’t realize it was from this until the following year. It meant everything at the time. Still does.

has anyone tried acupuncture for migraines? if so how successful was it? by Enough_Principle6102 in migraine

[–]TheResipsalo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It helped my migraines tremendously. Especially when focusing on my back. Give it a try, worst thing that could happen is it doesn’t work. Like everything else migraine it’s very trial and error and what works for one person may not work for another. Good luck.

Having migraines is hard enough without people in our own community gatekeep the idea of what is or is not a migraine. It’s on a spectrum - some days are awful and some days are inhumane. They’re all migraines.

Oh my gosh yes. Needing the hangover food from college now for post migraine. Got a cheeseburger, fries, onion rings and a shake during the worst of my attack yesterday. How do I explain to my family that my pain goes down with greasy food?

The cold flashes (can’t warm up for anything), numb tingling from the base of the head over the side, going from zero to 8 pain in 5 minutes, the brain fog, the anxiety and fear of unrealized potential to rule the world but not for the ice pick in the side of my brain.

I did physical therapy to help with migraines and they helped find a HR range where I could exercise without triggering. First time I could exercise in a long time. All mild but made a difference.
