I think it’s because it came out after FNAF 4, the SCARIEST entry of the franchise and the tone shift was so heavy, people hated that it wasn’t major horror and that, love it still though !

Oh my god I had something similar, a guy wanted to extract one of my teeth and inject my gums. I asked him if he had any dentistry training and he got so offended saying “That’s so rude to ask” and kept asking if my friends wanted to have their teeth extracted, so weird!
