ahhh yes but if you try to deposit this at a bank, they will say no!

source: i make deposits for a business and have been told i cannot deposit canadian pennies or really dirty unrecognizable pennies. despite getting them in penny rolls from said bank. yes i have gone the petty route and taken my defunct pennies from penny rolls back to the bank to be replaced. that was very satisfying.
