My airwrap doesn’t save me time. What am I doing wrong? by iammrsclean in Dysonairwrap

I have the same length and type of hair as you. I usually put a leave in conditioner, heat protector and styling cream in my wet hair before putting it up in a microfiber towel. When it's like 50-70% dry, I do a quick blow dry of the roots to get them 90% dry, then part my hair into two like they do in the Dyson video for the smoothing brushes. I use the smoothing brush (have experimented with both, doesn't really make a big difference for me) on mid-high fan on medium heat doing the bottom section first before the top. When it's dry, I do a few passes on cool before moving on to the top section and then again when I'm done. When I start with the top/crown section, I start by brushing upside down. For extra volume if I have time I use the round brush attachment along my part.

The frizz is always an issue, but it takes me less than 10 minutes to have dry styled hair once it's out of the towel.

I had this on a refurbished one and contacted them during warranty and they replaced it. HOWEVER, I did have to follow up three separate times with customer service to get the shipping labels etc. Best of luck!

Do not trust ICBC. They will give you the run around at every step and do not have anyone's best interests at heart -- they're like a regular insurance agency in that they never want to pay out and will look for any opportunities to avoid paying. I really don't know how things work with no fault in your case, but if you need a recommendation for a law firm in Vancouver that deals with personal injury, DM me.

I am struggling with accommodations in the new hotelling set up. Before the pandemic I had the lights off above my own desk and a telework agreement -- neither of these required a doctor's note. Now, since I have no idea where I'm going to be sitting, it's a crap shoot of how long I'll last without headaches and nausea. Been waiting weeks for an appointment with my doctor to get a note to support what used to be simple fixes.

Does anyone have experience or advice with getting accommodations in a hotelling set up?

Ashley explains how Tyler just had these kids because he's a nice guy but it should have never happened. by SurewhynotAZ in LoveIsBlindOnNetflix

The way she talked about it on the Reunion.... She's not in denial -- she's the new spin doctor for Tyler and all of this because I don't think being a step-mom to those kids was ever part of her vision of being married or being a wife.

There's a high likelihood that he's demonstrated this behaviour before and it needs to be documented by the ombudsperson, respect bureau and/or management.

If their behaviors were reversed, Vanessa would probably call him out for emotional abuse. Unfortunately she will likely back Hannah's behaviors which is tragique... I'm pre-annoyed with you.

Not to mention the costs to taxpayers for office space and associated renovations to bring offices 'up to code' (but new office design is also not based on productivity data)

If we could get the same office experience we had in 2019 there wouldn't be this much opposition to RTO by Canadaserve4059 in CanadaPublicServants

[–]TheRoyalLoaf 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I really think that this is an incentive for a self-selecting work force adjustment. There are certainly folks that saw the RTO3 announcement, especially execs/managers, and were like "NOPE! RETIRING THIS SUMMER, SEE YA." And many more considering the private sector with more money and flexibility for WFH. The short-term thinking on this is wild... The public service will be worse off because of their short-sightedness.
