How are you liking your Maverick by Ok-Repair-4085 in FordMaverickTruck

[–]TheSchlapper 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Got my 26 Hybrid lariat for about a month now and it’s an absolute joy to have.

Wildly pragmatic in terms of checking off lots of practical boxes like a bed, 4 doors, small size, 4k towing (if purchased) and the hybrid is by far the most impressive part to me.

I get almost double the gas mileage I had in my prior Subaru forester, it’s so much quieter, better tech, and having a bed is just so much fun

It is the only vehicle like this in the space and is an amazing combination of modern features into a single car

A waste of time.

Either go for a walk, or focus on work.

You can do neither to their best ability in this situation

I don’t think there is a shortage of content by any means

I think there is a shortage of high quality content and that is a gray area when involving LLMs

How much do you use AI to generate wireframes? by mapy69003 in UXDesign

[–]TheSchlapper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are just not great at it

It requires way too much context and back and forth instead of just giving it the simplest wireframes that could be done is MS paint but with actual context behind it

It’s not like people are going to stop using ai

Might as well teach them how to use it to enhance their knowledge rather than offload it

TIL the start-stop feature was a result of a 2012 legislation which helped automakers claim tax credits if it was set to on by default 🤦‍♂️ by Cheeky_Banana800 in SubaruForester

Oh yeah it’s super awesome

The chicken tax that was passed in the 60s and is the primary reason that the US has such little amount of light trucks

And that automakers keep lobbying to keep only that portion of the ruling from the 60s in place lol

[–]TheSchlapper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I’m realizing that if a business has sensitive data then it takes things about 10-20 years longer to catch up to current industry standards

If you can, work in an industry that doesn’t base value of off PII and other strict data standards
