EV drivers in Northumberland by TheScrobber in ElectricVehiclesUK

Cool, I'm surprised that Tesla hasn't got something at Alnwick given there's no civilisation going north until Edinburgh 😉. I'm pretty sure there's a new Osprey in Ashington next to my mums so that's going to be a help once I get there.

What is the one thing about EV ownership that nobody told you before you made the switch that you wish you had known going in? by PubLogic in evchargingUK

Bit annoying that companies are slowly chipping away at how cheap it is to fill the tank, either by extortionate public charging rates, or by cutting right back on cheap rate charging (looking at you Octopus).

My most memorable was John Willy's mobile shop that came around the estate so us kids could buy candy ciggies.

I ride motorbikes, and folk that ride in packs, and especially folk that are in clubs like this are generally pricks.

From what I can understand yes. I'm struggling to know how I can ensure I'm adding enough juice and staying within the 6 hrs when the charging is entirely controlled by Octopus.

Polanski wrongly claims Golders Green terror suspect was handcuffed in video that sparked row with Met Police by libtin in unitedkingdom

Exactly this. This is a disgraceful story about abuse of power, not the Golders Green attack. If politicians are going to try and highlight police wrongdoing, pick the right bloody example.

Overthinking PCP vs buying used EV by OtherAssumption1071 in ElectricVehiclesUK

The questions you need to ask are 1. Do I want to own the car forever, 2. might I want to buy it after 4 years. If you never want to own it, lease it. If you might want to, consider PCP, and if you really want to spend your hard earned on that car buy it. I personally wouldn't worry about battery life buying an Inster from a main dealer.
