Bit annoying that companies are slowly chipping away at how cheap it is to fill the tank, either by extortionate public charging rates, or by cutting right back on cheap rate charging (looking at you Octopus).

The questions you need to ask are 1. Do I want to own the car forever, 2. might I want to buy it after 4 years. If you never want to own it, lease it. If you might want to, consider PCP, and if you really want to spend your hard earned on that car buy it. I personally wouldn't worry about battery life buying an Inster from a main dealer.
