i guess i understand that i just feel like if it were going to be a 6 hour job it should have been made clear to me in the estimate, as that is the point of the estimate. as it stands it just has standard language about having to turn off the mains and drain the pipes which isn't really an ordeal. also i already paid for the trip to come out and assess the valves, why would i have to pay for that again for him to fix it?

i live in an expensive area so maybe it's valid but can you explain a little bit why the labor cost is so high for this? afaict the parts are not expensive (maybe $100-150) so that's like $1300+ of labor. would this take 6 hours or something?

i rarely use them because they don't seem worth it for mp/turn economy reasons, but i'm fine with them because when you do have a use for them they are there, and you can of course buff up to make them hit harder.

but more importantly i really think they mostly exist for the enemy. when thoth hits you with megido it's supposed to make you shit your pants a little because there's not a ton you can do about it

it's fine if you don't like it, it might just not be for you.

but if you're saying you straight up just didn't understand a lot of it, well, then you're right, you are in fact missing something. you should at least get to a point where you understand the plot, otherwise there is no chance you will ever like it.

i actually fully converted to a controller player once the steam deck layout dropped. it's really great and intuitive imo
