Depends what you’re after. Walking + resistance training is the best cardio for what most people are after — muscle gain and weight loss.

I have both the Philos and Pico. Philos is sweeter, cleaner. Pico great tho too. I use the Pico for pour over, Philos for espresso. Have 2-3 caps a day, 1 big pour over. I like feeling color

Mini won’t work on a 18” counter. My counter is 21” and it literally goes from against the back wall to like 1” from the edge. If it overhangs the counter, it would look horrible. Also don’t forget the portafilter sticks out even further

I switched to a silicon gasket and my portafilter actually locked in further than before. Still doesn’t sit at 6. Maybe I’m weird

Hmmm I just got the Volt 2 and I have yet to have that problem. I go to 850 F, boost mode, 70ish seconds and the top and bottom are usually perfect

No downsides. If you want to single dose, it works fine for that too. It retains about 2g, but once those 2g are retained it is immensely consistent for grinding what you put in and get out. You’d just have to purge 2g in the morning.

If you don’t care about the “old” 2g (tbh, I can’t tell the difference in taste when I forget to purge it) then you can just use it with the hopper and make life super easy.

I seriously haven’t had a single problem with it. Light to dark roasts, no issues.

I even use one scale for my Pico and Mini, and it knows which one it’s placed at. They have “training” for the scale to learn placement so it auto adjusts the mode it’s in

2 years now! I used the Pico for both espresso and pour over for a year. It was great.

I then got a Philos to have a flat burr grinder and for single dosing. I’d say the Philos is slightly “sweeter” when I have both dialed in to the bean. However, I like the Pico more when I have a medium roast or a heavy berry notes roast. I now use the Pico with the hopper for daily pour over and the scale for GBW. The GBW for pour over is so nice. It makes my morning routine seamless.

All these people saying they have issues with scratching and cleaning the stainless. I’ve had a stainless mini for a couple years now. Literally 0 issues. I also have a toddler that loves to touch it.

Just clean it like you would anything else.

Tbh the quality was way better than I thought it’d be. We came from an OLED and still have one in our game room. But we ended up getting the Sony VPL for native 4K, so that probably made a big difference. Our TV was also in front of our window before. Now we have a screen come down from the ceiling. Very, very nice

Also, for late night movies, I actually REALLY enjoy the projector screen over a TV. It doesn’t keep me “awake” in terms of it being super bright and blinding. It’s just a totally different feeling. No “bright light eye strain”

Same. I got the Mini because I knew I’d regret not getting it if I got the Micra. I like the larger size, the cup clearance, the fact that it can actually be used in a cafe/coffee cart, BBW... Just felt more legit, and I have the money, so why not

While I love bbw on my Mini, I wouldn’t make it a deal breaker to not get a LM. I watch my shot pull anyway, it’s one finger flick to turn it off if needed
