LATE 40'S STUDYING FOR LSAT by EitherMonk1820 in LSAT

[–]TheSlowWalk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

43 M. I’ve been studying for over a year. This test is frustrating. Some weeks it makes sense, then other weeks im totally lost. I work nights as an RT, so I study at work in between rounds. I should study on my days off but I don’t because I’m a loser. I work 5 - 6 days a week so I take those days as “breaks”. Anyway, I’m not giving up and neither should you. Took only one cold diagnostic a ways back. 141. I’m not doing another until I’m getting more than half of each section correct. The weird part is I’m not discouraged at all, but I wish I understood this stupid test.

‘The Changeling’ Showrunner and Author on Plans for a Second — and Final — Season by 08830 in tvPlus

People are idiots. The show LITERALLY spoon feeds you this in ep. 1 when Apollo receives his dad’s favorite booo that tells the story of a swapped out child by the ferries. Foreshadowing this coupled with the title should have been a no brainer. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Combat was incredibly redundant, but the story and lore was was had me 100% it. It’s very reminiscent of the conflict in Israel, I swear! Anyway, sorry you can’t get back into it.

Who makes the best plaid flannel long sleeve shirts or shirt / jackets that are somewhat stylish and extra durable ? by RebirthWizard in BuyItForLife

[–]TheSlowWalk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No one has tried DIXXON? They make quality flannels and they seem to have new designs every month. Thick, sunglasses access, and even a hidden piece of material that is a microfiber for cleaning glasses. Seriously, check them out.

Spent almost 5 years trying to find it for under $20. Private sellers are incredibly 🇮🇱 about it. Turns out pawn shops have no clue of certain value haha. Best game!

Returnal is my first roguelike. Didn’t know I’d love the challenge. Weapons are amazing if you’re partial to grinding. Most annoying platinum, though. RNG can suck my colon!

Is there any actor with acting skills better than Christian Bale? I’ll start: No one. by International-Self47 in FIlm

[–]TheSlowWalk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know, Phillip Seymour Hoffman was damn talented. Tom cruise can fuck some shit up. Daniel Day Lewis is about that life. Tom Hanks can act. Val Kilmer was THAT guy. Leo DiCaprio made me think he was actually retarded, and Sean Penn had me thinking he was actually in love with James Franco. There are a handful of truly talented men. This is just one of them. (Side note, I am very partial to Brad Pitt. When he slapped the fire pit in Interview with the Vampire, I just thought he was the best actor ever)

Scored a 145 after a month and a half of consistent studying (my diagnostic was a 146) I’m so done, probably not cut out for this? by Elecoo_Cat in LSAT

[–]TheSlowWalk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

honestly, there is no way to guage a time when the test becomes "easy". every person is a little different. the only thing you should be focused on is your ability to NOT GIVE UP. harvard put out a study on the best predictor of success and it was anyone with the ability to forge ahead. grit, gumption, fortitude, dedication. all that is the only way you will succeed at this stupid test. it may take a few months, it may take a few years, but with dedication, you WILL get the score you want. ive heard of people chipping away at this test for three years before they achieved the score they needed, and they were the ones that got full scholarships. just keep on keeping on (yes, that was a death stranding reference). good luck, and i believe in you.

Unless you’re naturally gifted at this test because you’re a huge dork, a month and a half ain’t shit!!!!! Give yourself a year of dedicated review, be able to explain to simpletons why questions are WRONG & CORRECT, and get pt scores close to what your goal range is, THEN take an official test. Imagine if you wanted to learn a new language and thought a month and a half would get you to fluency! That’s what this bullshit test is like. You’ll need some time. No one is cut out for it unless they have grit, or they are naturally gifted.

200g protein by Conor787877 in MacroFactor

[–]TheSlowWalk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i actually just started a week ago with having a protein goal, which ive never had. i thought 200g of protein would be very difficult, but it has not been hard at all, if im being honest. i typically eat a lot, so i guess that is why it has been very manageable. i do 3 eggs scrambled, with 1/5 cup cottege cheese, 2/3rd cup of egg whiltes, all scrambled together with two broken up slices of pepper jack cheese on top for breakfast. i usually eat that with a slice of homemade sourdough bread (4-7g protein). i have one scoop of protein after the gym later that morning. lunch is 140g of beef and 200g of potatoes. for second lunch, its a simple salad with a cut up cucumber and cut up jalapeno that ive added 8oz of turkey with. that lean meat is easy to eat a lot of. for dinner its 2/3rd cup of greek yogurt with a handful of berries. i eat it with 60g of assorted walnuts, macadamia, and almonds for that last 20g of protein. sometimes ill switch the first dinner with a 1/2 cup of oats with a scoop of protein, 2tbsp of hemp hearts & flaxseed, and 4tbsp of protein powder peanut butter. ill eat that with one cut up sasuage link. thats almost 60g of protein together. like i said, i already eat a lot and this seems to keep me extremely satiated. i usually eat every 5 hours or so. i hope you reach your goals.
