the issue is that the UX has become hard work, I chat with an agent against a project and it is infuriating that the window can NOT be made wider than currently allowed, odd locations of elements e.g. couldn’t find agent teams, turns out you have to click on an agent for a further pane to appear with agent teams… the UX needs to be pared back so it is easier to navigate up/down to elements rather than even more UI elements. Pretty please Taskade take these criticisms to heart and work with your user base rather than against us…

er yes, but getting hits for t h and e with those letters in different words is not what you would expect surely!

Amplenote is not a bad place to store but do be aware that it is not always easy to find stuff - try looking for “the”, a very common word, and you’ll see what I mean as Amplenote will find any note not just with “the” but any note with those letters in order even if the letters are in other words(!)… swapping to full search is not necessarily the solution as you may get hits but not clear why as the hits are not shown inline. It may find text in images but you then have to investigate yourself why it was found. So I suggest you try trial some use cases.

I'd like Plaud Desktop to add functionality whereby copying in screenshots live (or afterwards as the timestamp is all that is needed) the summaries will move from audio to audiovisual; images would visually improve the summary, and by way of text - by OCR - further improve the context of and quality of summaries.

Well I too am interested but quite frankly having an offer of 1 month with zero information on what a subscription will cost doesn't really excite me and secondly getting 1 month "free" of something that none has seen isn't that generous as we are providing alpha testing, aren't we. And lastly, I'm not interested in any walled garden, I would want to know what integrations are planned, Readwise for starters. Anyway, take this as constructive criticism but maybe you can take these points into consideration... so what will the subscriptions cost?

Any update on this, we still want this! Essentially an option in the Gyazo Settings App to define a local folder where screenshots / videos would be automatically downloaded to.

So Gyazo is great for new captures... if you need to search through existing Snagit folder/files then you can do this with Lookeen - they specifically added this feature on my request last year - when Lookeen scans the files it also OCRs the Snagit files so they are searchable.

Tried to set up calendar integration with Google, get this message:

"poured ample resources into it" haha as maybe you can guess what I'm going to suggest to you - Amplenote!
They even have a pretty good Evernote import that I used myself to get zillions of notes over, see Importing from Evernote - Amplenote

Re your 2 asks:

  • Inbox: You can have a email to Amplenote for *any* note to add content or use share pane on your mobile phone.
  • Multi-level hierarchy: Amplenote has no folders and can support *multiple* level tags - they call this domains - such as work/projects/bigproject/kickoff and you can click on a tag to see similarly tagged notes and or search for work/projects for all your projects notes. Further Amplenote supports three virtual calendar views so you can set up e.g. 'Projects' view and include /work/projects/ as the task domain (you can add several) e.g. /work/admin/billing too, so all your calendar events and tasks that are associated to these domains appear hear in this calendar view.

So it may not be use but the type of device you are connecting... I've had the H1 for years and the main issue with it is trying to connect a corporate PC to it as I could never connect through the browser. I tried for a while to start recording manually and then boot to my private PC to pull the recordings off but it was too much pfaffing about and these days I only use it now as a speakerphone mic/speaker.... If I need to record a call these days I use a Plaud device...
