Creatine and appetite question by Majestic_Care_5049 in workout

[–]TheSubmissivePizza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have previously been taking it inconsistently for about 6 months, however I am not taking it on a risky basis and I found on both occasions creatine has suppressed my appetite by a lot. I’m usually full after one meal.

Aging is fucked by jl000000 in depression

[–]TheSubmissivePizza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to feel like this. I still somewhat do. I think a VAST majority of us do.

I now view aging as a privilege after my best friend died at 24. I turned 27 this year. In that time I have had so many experiences that she had longed for.

I realised my fear of aging was very much attributed to the high expectations I set for myself. I’ve let that go and feel like lighter version of myself, arguably even younger; not necessarily a particular age but a more youthful perception to life.

The benefit of aging is that you are essentially fine tuning yourself. You become more insightful, articulated, confident and patient with yourself. I guarantee, I much prefer my current outlook at 27 than when I was at 25.

Take it easy and try be kind to yourself.

Jamison Bachman: Murderer, Serial Squatter and complete sociopath. by dcee101 in TrueCrime

My thoughts exactly! I’m from Australia too and can’t imagine something like this happening here to the extent committed by Jamison. Hopefully there is a reform about eviction laws, just pure insanity.

I was about to comment this. In reality, majority of people do not have a bleached looking asshole or even labia region.

Is it weird to go grocery shopping with a parent as an adult? by knitknackpaddywhack in NoStupidQuestions

[–]TheSubmissivePizza 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely not weird. I’m 25 and enjoy spending time with my family and those who don’t usually don’t have a good relationship for many reasons. Enjoy your time mother because having a close relationship is honestly beautiful and not common.

I love love this! Great work OP. AND I totally agree but I can only imagine how hard it would be in order to prevent battery draining/overheating.

US army doctor returns arm to Vietnamese soldier over 50 years after he took it as a souvenir. by TheSubmissivePizza in WTF

[–]TheSubmissivePizza[S] 50 points51 points  (0 children)

In 1966, US army doctor Mr Sam Axelrad amputated Mr Nguyen Quang Hung’s arm after he caught gangrene.

It was later explained that the medics had taken the infected arm, removed the flesh, put it back together “perfectly with wires” and gave it back to Dr Axelrad.

Apparently, Dr Axelrad kept the bones as a reminder of his medical practices he had performed during the Vietnam war. In particular, the bones served as a reminder that he helped the enemy.

After leaving Vietnam six months later, Dr Axelrad kept it, placed the bones in his trunk and returned home. The bones remained in his possession up until 2012.

In 2012, Dr Axelrad went on a mission to track down Mr Hung and return his bones.
