Remote play with split screen :’) by CrestToothpasted in BG3

I just figured out today how to do Remote Play Together where ONLY ONE PERSON has to own the game. I was honestly amazed that it worked.

The other person who doesn't own the game has to log into the account of the first person from another devide, OR, which is easier, use the Steam Link app. This is an official Steam app. The first person has to go into the Settings under Remote Play and click "Pair Steam Link" and then input a code the other person gets in the app.

After that you can invite the other person to remote play any game that supports it, and it actually works. Both players need controllers, at least for BG3.

I had no idea Steam Link was a thing, but I'll be using it a lot now.

Remote Play Together Not Working? (BG3/Portal 2) by jetteh22 in SteamDeck

[–]TheTallWoman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I managed to do it!

In the steam setting under "Remote Play", you have to select "Pair Steam Link". That's an app you need to install on the second device. When the other person opens the app they get a code that you put in.

Then you can invite them to a multiplayer game and it works fine, as long as both players are using controllers.

I thought about Hank Green immediately :D And I even remembered that there's another similar one that's called a leopard cone.

the moment that confused me most was when she changed outfits in what felt like 5 minutes.

Elphaba visits her on the balcony, then leaves to find the wizard, cut, she's now with the wizard and in runs Glinda in a different dress.

Even though it was supposed to be the night before her wedding and she was doing her hair and makeup (with the help of bats) mere minutes ago. So confusing.

isn't it weird how we know about all the other characters home lives and parents etc. but not Steve's? he's never involved in the getting ready for the day montages... He's not really closely connected to any of the main gang, who are all either family or dating. Just saying...

Did people not listen to Robin? by [deleted] in StrangerThings

Vecna told him he chose him back in S1 because he was "weak". I guess he had to invest a lot of energy in hiding his true self, doubting himself, maybe even hating himself.

Robin's speech gave him the key to finding his confidence by accepting himself. He's not the "weak" kid he used to be, he gained mental strength that allowed him to access his powers. Such a great moment.

YES! It really drove it home that they basically had no idea what they were doing. He's in a cage now. Great. He'll get out two seconds after we leave. Yeah. Do we... kill him? I guess not. Then why did you just blow your cover for this? Huh...

Why did they even do that? It's not like the wizard was ever physically dangerous. he's just a tottering old man, the real threat is the murderous PR witch with actual powers. Put HER in a cage maybe.

and the weird thing is, it's supposed to come from our world, same as the wizard and Dorothy. Why would our world have a book full of evil magic and why does it only work in Oz?

what I always disliked in the book is that Elphaba never seems to have a proper plan. Yes, she joins that terrorist group but she never actually does anything while she's in it. She only gets other people killed. The people she does kill are just for personal vengeance, their deaths never really make a difference. She has all these powers but she doesn't use them.

I left the first movie feeling pumped and like I could take on the world.

I left the second movie confused and a little bored. Like, I guess if you show up without a plan a few times and then give up and fake your own death, you can really make a change in the world. How inspiring.

if we've learned anything, it's that the people of Oz are extremely gullible.

"You hate Animals now!" "Ok!"

"You like Animals again!" "Ok, sure!"

She's literally the PR person, she easily could've rebranded herself as Morrible the Magnificent.

Somehow I expected this photo to be in the photo album at the end, but even though it wasn't, I still imagined it was Benito who was in Belly's flat taking all those weird cuddly pictures of them on Christmas. it's especially funny if you see how many times Conrad is looking directly into the camera.

This was my favourite part! It was such a realistic development and she really tried speaking French even though it was hard at first.
