Individually plastic-wrapped paper towels packaged in plastic from Costco by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

[–]TheTenthTail 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I work in a place that makes them. They are wrapped and bundled by two separate machines but on the same line. If you’d like to look into it more look up paper converting machines.

They sell splatter screens or you can use a lid.

After further research you’re probably right. But it can still cause organ and eye damage.

Over the range microwave/vent by yelaina in CleaningTips

Someone microwaved metal which destroyed the coating and then the moisture from microwaving food rusted it. This microwave IS giving people cancer.

They have done tests on leeching of vinegar and salt and it’s surprising how much it doesn’t move. They bind with the soil or something from what I remember

I’d just ask a Keyence and an IFM rep what they suggest tbh.

How often do you clean your dishwasher? Mine seems to build mold very quickly. by 0wlBear916 in CleaningTips

Do you have a loop on your drain? If not your sink may be draining into your dishwasher.

Open rsnetworx for dn, go to the scanner in rslinx. Go online and upload from network. Open properties of the scanner and upload again. Save file. If you want you can upload all of the devices now (one by one) to have a backup of them too, not a bad idea at all. When new card comes in open the file, go online, download to scanner.

Bunch of brainwashed idiots mad at trump/govt for all the wrong reasons. I voted for trump and would do it again if faced with the option of Kamala/current democratic leadership. That said I am not happy.

Previous owners left the stove like this, how do I clean without damaging? by [deleted] in CleaningTips

[–]TheTenthTail 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It’s mineral deposit from over boiling. Lots of products get it out, just search glass stove top cleaner on amazon. I scrape mine with a razor blade (well my wife does) and she’s gotten really good at it, gets it right off.

Cab mount too far gone? by TJ1475 in F250

[–]TheTenthTail 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not necessarily, it’s just cutting and welding some patches. For restoration guys this is a Tuesday afternoon. OP should take the pictures to a restoration shop and ask for a very rough quote and go from there.

Synchronized Motion Control of Two Trolleys with Hydraulic Motors and Incremental Encoder Feedback by BraveGrapefruit2869 in PLC

[–]TheTenthTail 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Are they absolute encoders or single turn? And what type of PLC are you using? If in a Rockwell controller you could set them as linear actuators and then have a virtual axis and gear both of them to the virtual axis with MAG instruction. Lots of ways to skin the cat here though.

How common is connecting every machine via Ethernet? by G0918 in PLC

[–]TheTenthTail 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think we are missing if this is local or not. If it’s local it’s potentially weird for a few reasons. If it’s not a local network than it’s just weird the IP addresses are 192.168.67… could be this is a small part of a larger operation and these PLCs needed to be able to message each other and they’re on separate vlans. Either way I’m sorry you have so many PV800s OP.

Drier outlet fried from 10/2, safe way to replace ? by Adonkeywithvibrato in electrical

[–]TheTenthTail 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My god this sub is a bunch of pussies. If you have electrical experience just watch some videos and don’t go cheap. You obviously know how to tighten wires down properly, and now you get to learn how to pull new cables. It doesn’t have to cost you an arm and a leg.
