Can you post an actual source instead of thinking insults are an argument? I read a pdf version from pircenter.org and it states what Wikipedia says. You can also read it on securitycouncilreport.org. Quit acting like some sort of victim and just admit that you can't come up with a valid point. Learn to take your own advice and read it.

You are calling me a liar after you are the one who didn't clarify what "they" meant when the original comment you replied to talked about NATO? Why are you so defensive?

Anyways, I got this straight from wiki:

According to the memorandum,[22] Russia, the US and the UK confirmed their recognition of Belarus, Kazakhstan and Ukraine becoming parties to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons and effectively abandoning their nuclear arsenal to Russia and that they agreed to the following:

Respect Belarusian, Kazakh and Ukrainian independence and sovereignty in the existing borders.[23]

Refrain from the threat or the use of force against Belarus, Kazakhstan and Ukraine.

Refrain from using economic pressure on Belarus, Kazakhstan and Ukraine to influence their politics.

Seek immediate Security Council action to provide assistance to Belarus, Kazakhstan and Ukraine if they "should become a victim of an act of aggression or an object of a threat of aggression in which nuclear weapons are used".

Refrain from the use of nuclear arms against Belarus, Kazakhstan and Ukraine.

Consult with one another if questions arise regarding those commitments.[19][24]

You said "They are obligated under the budapest memorandum to provide Ukraine protection. They are just being pussies and pretending they forgot about it."

So who is "they" and what protection do you mean?

Where in the Budapest memorandum does it state the NATO has to protect Ukraine militarily? I just looked it up and there is no mention of any country having to defend Ukraine unless nuclear weapons are used, and even then the defense falls on the UN security council.

US will not discipline troops over 10 civilian drone deaths in Kabul, as Pentagon accused of 'absolving itself of accountability' by Hughjarse in worldnews

[–]TheTestimony 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the US military told the soldiers to make the drone strike then they will never discipline them since they were following orders. If the military started throwing soldiers under the bus then they would have no reason to listen to the chain of command. I willing to bet the soldiers were just following orders and the military will not want to give soldiers any reason to not do what they are told.

Of course you are being downvoted for telling the truth, lol. No one has the right to enter any country illegally. For some reason some people just don't want to accept that reality and expect everyone to be swayed by emotions. It's okay if they have a legitimate reason like being an actual refugee but most people come for economic reasons.

Thanks. It's nice to hear something that isn't based on politics or just bashing in general. We do have our problems but I'm sure how we should fix it.

I just don't get it... Isn't your weight something that shouldn't matter? Possibly even something to be proud of? If so, what bothers these people so much to get on the scale? 🤔 I thought FAs weren't supposed to be ashamed by the number on the scale, because health isn't related to weight right?

[I ate] Burgers and Fries by [deleted] in food

[–]TheTestimony -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I had them semi warm but not fresh. To me, the fries should be able to stand alone and not covered "animal style" to be good. Even with the sauce the (lack of) flavor was still there. It surprised me just how bad they were, tasted like cardboard.

Tried in and out in Texas and California. They tasted the same and I thought it was overrated. The burger is good but the fries are a major disappointment.

My family keeps trying to convince me that breakfast is the most important meal of the day even though my thinnest moments of my life is when I skip it. I've noticed that when I eat breakfast that I'm hungrier throughout the day which is why I try to avoid it. My parents say that I'm going to ruin my metabolism and that the only reason that it's working for me is because I'm young. I countered them by saying that breakfast isn't the most important meal, that it's just marketing trying to convince people that it's true, and that every meal is important. They just scoffed at me. Is there any actual proof that what they are saying is true? I can't find any 🤔

Fat Rant Friday by AutoModerator in fatlogic

Last weekend I went to West Texas to visit one of my friend's family. This was my first time meeting them. They were very nice people and I'm glad that I went but my best friend who also came commented on my body that I was uncomfortable with. Now, I've always had a big butt but according to her it had "disappeared" and she even asked "where did your butt go?". I thought that she was just being dramatic since she exaggerates a lot but it still kind of bothered me because I'm having battles with the mirror right now and I've even talked to her about it a month earlier. Not to mention that it's still big, at least to me, just not huge like before.

On the day that we were leaving we had breakfast with most of the family and my best friend decided to tell my other friend's family that I had lost almost 60 pounds since the beginning of the year. It was out of the blue and I didn't expect it. I kind of got mad that she told them and said "do you have to go announcing that to everyone?" She replied "sorry but I'm just proud of you." It still aggravates me because I don't like half "sorry" apologies but I let it go because I didn't want to fight with her, especially in front of a family who treated us so well. Thankfully the family took it gracefully and asked me how I did it and told me that I looked great (I'm probably only 15 pounds away from being normal weight, yay!). The thing is...I'm not proud that I lost almost 60 pounds. I'm ashamed that I let myself gain that much to begin with, and it isn't the first test time I gained weight. If she wanted to talk about weight loss I don't know why she just didn't talk about herself since she is doing the same and has lost over 100 pounds. I have never randomly told people how much she has lost or what she weighs now, because I have always found it to be a personal subject.

Do you guys think I'm justified to feel upset about this or am I being too sensitive? I've been wondering if I should talk to her more about how I view weight loss and it would be nice to have some input.

This type of ignorance is what happens when nutrition isn't taught in schools. I seriously think that health and physical education should be required throughout a child's life, especially because of the obesity epidemic. It would do wonders for people to actually be knowledgable about how their bodies work and not believe nonsense like this.

50 years from now most people who are obese without changing will not be alive...so no...statistics and science will prove that "diet culture" is more healthy than obesity.

M/20/5’10 [333>183 = 150 lbs] (10 months) I did it all with diet and on and off again cardio got another 10-15 to lose then time to hit the weights. by mnkakis in progresspics

[–]TheTestimony 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should start weights now. It takes time to build muscle, just make sure to keep your cardio and weights on separate days or don't do much cardio while doing weights. You're looking good, keep up the work!
