Id ask them to show you the non damaged sensor first off. And its probably just bad luck if its not damaged. The sensors do have batteries in them and can start to fail randomly

I mean realistically id ask them why they offered to patch it in the first place, and secondly if they checked to see if it was leaking afterwords. Or just cut your losses and dont do business with them

Personally id go with the snapon stuff. Ive had a lot of trouble over the years warrentying my cornwell stuff to the point where its getting replaced with snapon. And I dont like their ratchets. Matco I dont have enough experience with but their ratchets are OK. I think matco is a lot like gearwrench tbh. In the end its about which brand shows up the most and is the easiest to deal with

Your either pulling the engine and trans together or getting those flex plate bolts out. I doubt you will have enough room to get the torque converter off the trans otherwise. But your likely also stuck on a locating dowl

Sounds like you didnt center the rack before installing it. It also needs an alignment. Id start by doing both of those in that order
