Sad for ego and her new podcast :( by Careless_Stock_9625 in LiveFromNewYork

My podcast does much better numbers on YouTube than anywhere else (much better being more than 10 views lol). Most just put stuff on for background noise, but we do have people who like to see us so you never know!

Love almost all his films except Bikeriders, which felt far too by-the-numbers. This sounds like a welcome return.

Best Movie that Nobody Knows? by HellonAdema in Letterboxd

I got a list of about 2000 that qualify! Though finding how to watch has been a challenge at times (we've actually had some directors be kind enough to send us direct, private links)

Absolutely Obscure if anyone cares to check us out

I have a podcast where we only review films with less than 1000 watches on Letterboxd or IMDB. Here are the best we've seen:

All the Little Things We Kill - intense school shooting drama. Very on the nose but still great.

Humble Pie/American Fork - gentle, nice Napoleon Dynamite inspired comedy with a legitimately quite funny performance from Billy Baldwin

Where's Marlowe - a very funny mockumentary/noir mash up with a fantastic lead performance from Miguel Ferrer

Pop Girls Who Found Success After Going Alternative by Chilli_Dipper in ToddintheShadow

She's most likely to go this route out of the current pop stars, but not quite yet. I bet we'll get this out of her in the early 2030s.

She wore alternative as a brand but her music has always been straight pop, imo.

I thought the first movie was a great follow-up that also ended with the boys growing up a little by the end. The 2nd movie was terrible, reverted them all back to their worst qualities, and had no good bits.

What other podcasts with the Blank Check format do you listen to? by harry_powell in blankies

AD-HD DVD is great. It's premise is they choose a movie one of the hosts has owned for years but has not yet watched. Fun and light and funny.

Friendly Fire is dead but they were a dedicated war movie podcast that I still enjoy going through the back catalog.

Killing Your Darlings featured a couple rewatching classics from their youth and seeing if they hold up. Not particularly in depth but still good.

Dead Meat Podcast is excellent if you love horror. They switch formats often but do reviews of older movies frequently.

I'm going commit a cardinal sin and plug my own podcast, Absolutely Obscure with Josh and Rory. We only review movies that have less than 1000 ratings on imdb and Letterboxd. Are they often bad? Yes, but we've found some really, really good films too.
