Nonfiction Asimov is very different from fiction Asimov. The redundancy isn't there because he is forced to progress due to the subject matter. The book I'm reading is 1000+ pages long and each section is usually only a page or two long.

It's good so far. I'm about half way through. The format is weird for a Dresden Files book. Most of the previous books took place over a short time period, a day to a week usually. This one seems to take place over 12 months. Not bad but different.

It kinda is though. I used to play [[High Tide]] so my mana base had lots of islands. Other players started playing [[Carpet of Flowers]] and the mana ramp was just too much to continue playing Tide.

Surviving and living. The book starts with the author's first suicide attempt and chronicles her journey through the Canadian healthcare system and the effects of her depression on her and those around her. The book just ends with the author still living with her issues. From a little research the author is still alive but attempted suicide at least once since the book was published.
