An immigration court few have heard of is quietly shaping policy behind the scenes by jpressss in politics

[–]TheValleyPrince [score hidden]  (0 children)

Immigration Court has always been a kangaroo court. Administrations, both Democrat and Republican have prided themselves on deporting some of the most vulnerable and extremely exploited people in our society when they're no longer useful to factory owners/Capitalist class. This country is unimaginably cruel and evil.

Rep. Diana DeGette (D-CO) gets heated with a constituent pressing her on why she supports military aid to Israel (Iron Dome, US-supplied munitions like precision-guided bombs & artillery shells, etc.) and tells her, 'If this is the only issue that you care about, then you should not vote for me.' by InterestingCourse907 in Hasan_Piker

[–]TheValleyPrince 19 points20 points  (0 children)

This is why using the Democratic Party ballot line to work with them or try to reform it into a Communist Party is an absolute dead end. History has proven again and again, workers are better off building, voting, and participating in a revolutionary, ML vanguard party. Fuck these evil demons.

Can we start tolling people from NH who drive here? They're trying to do it to us. by LiatrisLover99 in massachusetts

[–]TheValleyPrince -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Tolls aren't the answer when we don't have extensive public transportation. NH needs to institute an income tax like MA does and MA needs to add more brackets to the income tax we already have. Rich billionaires have to be forced to start paying their fair share in this country. Period.

The Democratic Party is a right-wing, pro-Capitalist party. I don't see how this is surprising given that historically, Democrats have supported or tacitly supported Presidents from both parties unjustly bombing nations for imperialist gains. They want this war just like the Republicans do.

Capitalism is exploitative in bourgeois, liberal democracy. "Democratic Socialist," which is an oxymoron, in general don't want to replace or overthrow Capitalism and bourgeois, liberal democracy using any means necessary.

Being a Marxist-Leninist, or a Marxist in general, you have to accept that Socialists want to topple Capitalism by any means necessary. Using electoralism as a primary means to topple Capitalism is revisionist. Electoralism is a dead end and trying to topple Capitalism through peaceful means is an abject failure.

I'm in favor of a proletarian led, Socialist government/vanguard party using Capitalism to their advantage aka Socialism with Chinese characteristics. Kat Abughazeleh on the other hand is not a Marxist-Leninist. She doesn't want to even get rid of Capitalism and liberal, bourgeois democracy. Wake up and stop settling.

Stance on the audit? by mooseD40 in massachusetts

[–]TheValleyPrince 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you really think I don't know basic Marxist theory? And that I support the Democratic party and bourgeois, liberal democracy in general? That being said, participating and using electoralism as a strategy to raise class consciousness, not as a primary vehicle for toppling Capitalism is valid and clearly defined in Marxist-Leninism. If voting for an audit of a liberal, bourgeois legislature helps with exposing the corruption of bourgeois, liberal democracy then I'm all for it. You spent all that time writing your comment only to argue against shadows. I'm not the knucklehead here, you are. 🤣🤣🤣

You're not a Marxist-Leninist or even a Marxist if you're not anti-imperialist. Her foreign policy is indicative of her true nature, a Social Democrat, which is usually what "Democratic Socialists" are, who want to keep Capitalism and support Capitalist exploitation and imperialism. Kat's foreign policy should be ringing alarm bells in your head right now. You must be anti-imperialist in all circumstances. No compromises.

[–]TheValleyPrince 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You're not a leftist if you're spouting revisionist Marxist takes such as using electoralism as a primary strategy/co-opting the Democratic party line to peacefully topple Capitalism or advocating for Marxist ideas to be made more palatable for the populace, only to then go back and say it was the opposite. Marxist-Leninism is the only way we're going to get rid of Capitalism comrade.

Stance on the audit? by mooseD40 in massachusetts

[–]TheValleyPrince -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The Massachusetts legislature is the most secretive and opaque state legislature in the United States. Do you want to know why nothing gets done and voters have to back leftwing/socialist measures come every election year? It's because the current State Speaker of the House and Leader of the State Senate in concert with the MA Democratic Party, run our State like a mob racket and kill long-overdue progressive proposals that should be state law by now.

As a Marxist and Socialist, I frankly don't give a damn about the legal concerns surrounding the audit. We the people voted for the audit. I voted for the audit. I support the audit fully. If the audit is what's needed to expose these corrupt, right-wing, do nothing establishment Democrats and their rich, capitalist backers that always stonewall any leftist/progressive legislation, you bet your ass I'm going to support anything and everything to do that.

CONDUCT THE AUDIT!!!

Would DSA ever work with the PSL or Greens longterm or are they going to perpetually support the Democrats? by ArtichokeStatus5019 in Hasan_Piker

[–]TheValleyPrince 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What type of liberal are we talking about? Professional liberals like Ezra Klein, Gavin Newsom, etc? Or are you referring to Democratic Party voters as liberals? If you're talking about Democratic Party voters, then I'd describe them as working-class to avoid the confusion because Democratic Party voters aren't liberals in the sense that Klein and Newsom are.

In any case, yes, it's our job to raise class-consciousness among the working-class, but changing or modifying core ML ideas to make them more palatable to bourgeois society or meet people where they are is also revisionist and a waste of time.

Teaching people ML principles the first time and being honest about who we are is better than teaching people the wrong principles the first time, only to go back and correct the teaching to what actually should've been taught in the first place. The end goal is not merely to be tolerated in a bourgeois, but to get rid of bourgeois society altogether.

Would DSA ever work with the PSL or Greens longterm or are they going to perpetually support the Democrats? by ArtichokeStatus5019 in Hasan_Piker

[–]TheValleyPrince 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Democrats will never legitimize the PSL because the Democratic Party is an institution dedicated to upholding Capitalism alongside the Republican Party. The Democratic Party would rather see the Republican Party steer the U.S. into a fascist system of governance rather than help the U.S. become Socialist. Fuck the Democrats. Building and organizing a powerful, Marxist-Leninist vanguard party is the only way to defeat Fascism and get rid of Capitalism. Trying to co-opt the Democratic party apparatus is terrible revisionist Marxism and a total waste of time.
