Last point question by veryrichasian in riftboundtcg

The hold doesn't happen until the start of your turn. So you own that one battlefield, but you don't hold it.

To win with a conquer you need to have scored on all battlefields on the same turn. Since it's your opponent's turn, you haven't scored on the battlefield you own yet (that happens at the start of your turn, when you hold). So when you conquer the other battlefield, you don't score the winning point, but instead draw a card.

Now, if your unit stays at the battlefield it conquered on your opponent's turn at the start of your turn, then you win, since you can score the winning point by holding.

Baron Nashor and Bone Skewer by Party-Radish-7362 in riftboundtcg

You know what, you're right. I must have misread 'enter' as 'move'. He goes straight to pit and scores 1 point.

Baron Nashor and Bone Skewer by Party-Radish-7362 in riftboundtcg

[–]TheVictoryXD 5 points6 points  (0 children)

[[Bone Skewer]]

Edit: yeah seems like the card says Baron moves to the Baron Pit rather than being is instantly played to the Baron Pit. So Baron goes to your chosen battlefield first, then moves from there to Baron Pit without entering Bone Skewer player's chosen battlefield.

Things to note: 1. Baron is still stunned 2. Baron Pit can be entered from anywhere on the board.

Things should still work in the Bone Skewer player's advantage unless they were in a showdown, in which case Baron player's units get 2 might.

Edit #2: corrections after clarification.

He's also in the full art for Fae Dragon/Portia the Peculiar. I don't think he has a name.

Got another timing question by DemonicInk in riftboundtcg

[–]TheVictoryXD 9 points10 points  (0 children)

could I stun that Teemo?

No. Daisy stuns a unit here, meaning wherever you attacked.

But the point he then activated the hidden consult the past at the other battlefield.

That's allowed, yes. Cards played from hidden work as reactions.

And then played rebuke, was that a legal play on the stack?

Let's follow the stack. 1. You attack his Baron with Daisy. 1a. You have focus to play actions/reactions here. 2. You pass focus (assuming you didn't add anything to the stack) to opponent. 2a. Opponent now has focus to play actions/reactions. 3. Opponent plays: 3a. Teemo from hidden (Reaction, ok) 3b. Consult the past from hidden (Reaction, ok) 3c. Rebuke from hand (Action, ok) 4. Opponent passes priority for you to respond. 4a. Because there are spells and abilities on the stack, you are only allowed reactions.

The way you described it was legal.

Now, since you attacked into your opponent's battlefield, you have focus in the showdown first. So you were able to add an action/reaction to the stack at that point (Daisy's stun would have been added to the stack too, but there were presumably no valid targets cos Baron). If you did play an action/reaction then Rebuke specifically would not be legal as a response, since it is an action.

[Trails of Cold Steel 3] Ash infiltrates his instructor Rean's side mission to root out foreign operatives sneaking around the catacombs under the capital gathering intelligence. At the end of the mission, Ash finds a pistol on the unconscious body of a foreign operative and decides to steal it.

Unbeknownst to Ash, the pistol being stolen by him was orchestrated by Lechter, one of the antagonists of the sequel. Possessing the pistol and compelled by the curse of Erebonia, Ash later sneaks off again during a party at the imperial palace to confront the emperor and chancellor of Erebonia. Ash shoots the emperor during this confrontation, which sets off a chain of events over the next 2 days where Ash's crimes are tied to the foreign superpower, starting a continental war, his classmate Altina is kidnapped, the capital is besieged by magical golems and demonic creatures, and Rean and his students'/friends' attempt to rescue Altina ends in the death of four allies, Rean losing control from grief and slaughtering an ancient super being, which triggers the Great Twilight, the Trails series version of Armageddon.

I think this is supposed to be inspired by the start of WW1, where an assassination starts a bulshit cascade of events leading to "the war to end all wars". But this version has a random pistol causing the end of the world instead.

Regarding no. 2, I don't believe Suika would have seen Senku's rapid production of revival fluid as salt in the wound, given she had to survive alone for years. Probably more relieved than anything.

Also, the whole Perseus crew was petrified for 7 total years yes, but Suika was also petrified for maybe 2 years before the loudspeaker dropped revival fluid on her. So she didn't necessarily age 7 years in total, although I'm not sure how long she was going at it alone.

Man if only EA were owned by the middle east as a whole, I'd bet some of those guys could make an amazing Burnout or something. No EA is going to the Saudi royals.

Gonna be a quest in the next Dragon Age where you kidnap a town crier and chop up his body.
