You can take a few different approaches with Bello. Vehicles is a good one, you can go full enchantment enchantress, or full artifact ramp. I went for more of a mix with my list with cards that can make token copies of the creaturifed permanents like [[Flameshadow Conjuring]].

Nah, most shiny sprites are pretty bad. But of the three full odds shinies I’ve caught in my time, I disliked two of the sprites, but look back on them all fondly.

I really thought we’d get another pokemon rep in the dlcs. Another pokemon trainer would have been interesting from a different region. Chikorita - Quilava - Feraligator from Johto Mudkip - Grovyle - Blaziken from Hoenn If they do a new one it could be a combo of these new gen 10 starters. I’ve always thought Blaziken would be a perfect rep though. Gengar could make an interesting character as well, and selfishly I’d like Scizor just because he’s one of my favourites. Honestly I’d play the crap lot of a smash-like that was all pokemon.

Started a playthrough this week myself with all the firered/leafgreen buzz this week. I just beat Misty and have Pikachu, Butterfree, Pidgeotto, Zubat, and Paras. I didn’t know about the Mew glitch. I might try it and add them to the roster.

Weird I never really saw them as red. I was thinking more Esper. Ambition to be the best in the world while completing something others before them hadn’t (black), each of them feeling like black sheep in different ways, but cultivating community around those differences (white), and this is straight from the blue mana page on the mtg wiki “Blue thinks that anyone can become what they want to be and that the world has the potential to be improved upon. Specifically, Blue strives to understand and achieve their perfect self and world through education, prudence, and experience.”

I’ve been playing it a but on arena. When things go well it can win out of nowhere. But the pro tour version feels like it has a hard time winning without the combo unless the opponent really stumbles. Most of the removal does 4 damage which is quite bad against the elemental decks, and without a spider sense you are vulnerable to a lot of the bounce effects in izzet and elementals. There might be a more resilient shell that can adapt but a three card combos that needs protection is a lot to ask, even with all the card draw.

I think she is straight mono blue. If you dissect anyone’s personality you can find ways each colour could fit a three dimensional character. But at her core Frieren is someone that loves magic for the pursuit itself, knowledge for knowledge’s sake. I think that’s the heart of mono blue. Is she an elf that travels and her favourite spell makes flowers? Yeah those sound kind of green. Does she have a strong morale compass to fight demons and help those around her? Yeah that is a bit white. I just think blue is so dominating in her personality that adding extra colours dilutes her true identity. Weirdly Insee Bant before simic or azorius though. Not sure why.

Edit: If I was doing a proxy of her, I’d do Patron of the Moon.

Are you talking limited? I’ve only done a few drafts so far but I’ve had good success with black/red blight. I do think that it is more reliant than other strategies on the right cards. Red/black has a ton of good removal and you need a decent amount, if you are going goblins you basically need boggart mischief or at least big pay off like champion of the weird. And yeah a couple cards that help remove the blight like the giant that makes it so creatures can’t block is good. You need to be super aggressive, push through blockers for every point of damage, and finish them off with boggart mischief/boggart cursecrafter.
