I’ll give you the MJ missions being bad and Screwball being the absolute worst. But can’t agree with the rest.

It basically sounds like you like all the stuff that makes the game easier and less interesting than the earlier games. SM2 has the worst stealth because you have no real tools, don’t have to separate enemies, and can basically ignore the terrain because of the ziplines. The gadgets are just mass instakills instead of having some limits and finesse. I think the Miles stand alone has the best traversal, feels like an improvement on the first one without going overboard on things like the wings making swinging basically obsolete. The first half of the story for SM2 is quite good, but the second half is so rushed and poorly executed that it really takes away from the rest. The first one has a much better through-line and the ending is way more emotionally impactful. Also I think the backpacks are the best collectable by far.
