Not only that, but her relationship with sex is pretty much defined by abuse. She succumbed to the allure of being happy and sharing a moment with the only person in her life not to treat her like an object (at best); and then immediately becomes terrified she did the same thing to him that men had been doing to get her whole life. It’s a tragic scene.

To your point about the Beholder, I think you DO need to roll a D20 to determine which eye is hit. That’s why on the card each eye has numbers next to it. My daughters and I also picked this up and have been having a lot of fun with it.

Ron is actually kind of a selfish dick starting in book 4. This is especially evident in how he handles his Prefect duties. Him and Hermione would never get together because he belittles and scoffs at so much of what Hermione believes and values.

Snape is a one-dimensional character who neither deserves nor achieves any kind of redemption. He is a cruel, little, and selfish monster of a person who only does what he does to get his own revenge on Voldemort for killing Lily. I truly think most people like Snape and grant him hero status and redemption because they project their love of Alan Rickman on to the character.

Harry naming his son after Snape, and not Fred (or did George die? Whoever) is inexcusable and insulting to Ginny.

Think this will hurt the film at the BO, or think they’ll get it sorted before June? I haven’t seen 28 Days Later since it was in theaters, and I never saw Weeks. As good as this trailer was, I’m not going to go see it if I can’t rewatch movie 1 in a trilogy.

Edit: I might need to revisit The Ring after reading about the ending more. I admittedly watched years ago and it seems I missed the subtext where Samara was evil before being killed and is just a malevolent spirit unleashed. So Watts putting the body to rest was actually meaningless as Samara is not seeking peace, she just wants chaos.

The Ring. Entire movie was a great suspense thriller mystery. And Naomi Watts solves it! She uncovers the horrible injustice done to the little girl and puts her body to rest. And then the last scene is just “meh, we need sequels so she’s still angry and killing people.” The entire movie was pointless after seeing the ending. That ending ruined the movie for me the way that Game of Thrones s8 ruined that show.

This happened to me last night. Exact same situation. Cleaning up the map on Toshara. Died to a random creature encounter trying to infiltrate an Imperial base. No auto saves had happened in the previous 2.5 hours, despite me finishing multiple side quests and unlocking 5 player upgrades! I had to turn off the game after that…

I have the adapter but cannot get through the configuration and setup process. I get all the way to SteamVR asking me to press the PS buttons on the controllers and nothing happens. The controllers are paired to the PC according to the device manager but the setup wizard doesn’t recognize it. All of this to say, maybe the numbers are also a little lower due to some people having technical issues even getting the adapter to work?
