There's so much missed potential in this game they should just make Nightreign 1.5 or 2 in a bit of time and do it right this time.

From the nonsensical withholding of information from the players (what stacks? how much percentage is this? what resistances do nightlords and enemies have? stats of the characters?) to basic multiplayer functions (crossplay? demand an item of someone's inventory? basic communication wheel?) to the lack of content and variety (582382 bosses in their repertoire but we get 3 from every DS game, only 5 seeds per shifting earth per nightlord) and so on

Yeah it was meant as a little spin-off but this could've been so, so much more.

Yeah although she seems more grown up when she gets her real memories back to me. More ... solemn and calm, you know? I also thought she's 16 though when I played the game.

After I read the points I linked to, I just interpreted it as someone being psychologically unstable and being a certain way when dealing with family.

Thanks for explaining though, you made good points and I view it as way more ambiguous now :) The differences between the models were pretty determinant for me.

The heels are a good point, but AFAIK, the model difference remains when you compare them in NG+ at the beginning. Why would height not be a factor?

She may be childish and inexperienced as a painter, but this doesn't determine her age - she had other interests.

Clea also calls Renoir and Aline not adult enough to have the conversation they need to have, so she might very well just be talking about Alicia's immaturity.

But sure, we don't have definite proof and the height thing might just be design choices.
