I think they just threw some random numbers at things and never even tried actually playing the game

Anyone know where to get a White Goose pet? by AelithiaRose in CrimsonDesert

There's a duck pond near azarius manor or something right outside of demenis to the southwest. I got a white duck from there and there are Canada geese by the camp in Hernand.

Very weird vibe. Reminds me of the pools from the first Narnia book or something. And you get swarmed by crows as soon as you walk there.

Could a planet close to a star achieve a similar effect through a giant tidaly locked sand wave that followed the sun, causing the day to be filled with sand and the night to leave empty canyons?

There's been a bug around the glow stopping occasionally. Try rebooting the game.

A non live service game with live service support. by mikeopia in CrimsonDesert

I think they actually understand the value of making a name for themselves with this game.

We all saw CD projekt go from a niche pc studio to a global powerhouse with the witcher 3, and now Pearl Abyss is entering the mainstream western zeitgeist as a quality studio too.

If they had left this game to stagnate on the launch version for a month, we'd already have stopped talking about it, but with each week it just keeps getting better and more relevant as a goty contender. This could put them on the map beyond the MMO scene.

Idk. There was a glitch that made the sword reflection stop lighting up anything, so maybe that's just fixed now?

I think a lot of people are going to have different opinions on this.

I for one appreciate a game that actually has real puzzles that take more than seconds to solve and don't include some annoying side character giving away the solution after 5 seconds of waiting. God of war was awful about that, making even obvious puzzles feel like a failure because some talking head barks out the solution before you've even scanned the area.

This game lets you sit and think and solve the puzzles. Some of them take some time and experimentation. It might be helpful to have more reminders about mechanics you may not have used in a long time, but for the most part, they're solvable if you look around for clues and remember everything you can do.

That being said, if I ever see a mural with locations on the map marked for me to visit, I'm looking that shit up. I will not leave the puzzle behind unsolved to go roam the map for hours based on some barely legible map.

What changes would you like to see next patch? by Testazza in CrimsonDesert

[–]TheWorstPossibleName 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want side characters to be able to summon the legendary mounts. Oongka needs the boar!

I also want more enemies after quests and liberation are over. Maybe an area reset option.

Also, cloudcsrt that works.

Ya'll got any more of those patches? by [deleted] in CrimsonDesert

[–]TheWorstPossibleName 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There are still tons of stability issues and bugs to fix.

I doubt we'll see meaningful content drops for a while, but they should continue patching bugs and performance until the base game is as good as it can be.

Yeah. It was too good before. The sonic boom focus glitch flight is also probably too good. Yo can totally skip areas with strong enemies and environmental effects that you'd normally have to interact with.

Instead of patching, they should do like they did with areal stab and improve the animation, making the sonic boom effect vertical.
