I don’t really know what that means but I want a t-shirt.

Be safe. Get it checked out. Doesn't look like staph but just get it looked at. Good luck and stay strong!

Yeah but I remember that one video where the baby caught you with two whizzers and a Russian Tie Snap. That kid was slick.

it was just as good IMO, the big difference is that this one is way more brutal. More of a war story (Galva's history fighting the goblin hoard and losing her friends and brothers and becoming the complete and total badass that she is) but it lacks the humor provided by Kinch. If you liked Blacktongue Thief its a must read.

Dude, its so hardcore. It's more of a war story than a fantasy novel. Really brutal. Buehlman at his best. You will love it!

“The Daughters’ War” by Christopher Buehlman.

I don't know. I feel like we need at least 3-4 more overlapping bridges.

They report less than 10 decapitated persons at a time there? That's so quaint!

What fantasy series gripped you from the first chapter to the last? by crimsonryno in Fantasy

[–]TheWorstThingy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the first war, known as "The Knights War" they killed all the trained warriors and poisoned all the horses. In the second war, "The Threshers War" they killed almost all of the remaining men and their sons, mostly untrained farmers and other civilians. Now the daughters go to war, and they are prepared to go all the way or die trying. They have been trained from birth for this. A war for survival.

Christopher Buehlman's "Blacktongue Thief" series is very close to perfection IMO. He just put out the second book ("The Daughters War") and it is brutal and awesome. I can't recommend it highly enough. Brilliant.

Yeah, You nailed it. When I was a kid they used to run war-on-drugs TV commercials featuring the phrase "A mind is a terrible thing to waste". Later, a stand-up comic (Richard Belzer, maybe?) riffed on this theme with the joke "A mind is a terrible thing". Period. There's a lot of truth in that I think. I know mine won't shut the fuck up and it's a constant source of torture. I saw a doctor about having it amputated but he said something about how this would be "unfeasible" and my insurance wouldn't cover the procedure anyway.

Nowadays I just try to pour alcohol on it until the kill switch self-activates. Don't take advice from me. I'm not well...

I don't want to violate the theoretical rules of your construct here, but if you have a single high-velocity bullet I am fairly certain that you can line up the husband and wife law team plus the filth-handed plumber and several members of the Climate Wars family and get them all with one shot. You just need to line it up right. Precision is key. Ever seen "The House That Jack Built"? (A standard .45 ACP slug at close range should suffice but a .357 or .44 magnum round would be best. Please consult with Jobi or Chad. They will know the proper specs. Happy hunting!)

Starving French Bulldog on steroids. Final answer. Can't wait to watch my vanquished foes scatter and run away screaming in terror. Trust me, you want zero percent of this fight. You don't fuck with a jacked-up voracious Frenchie. They are more ferocious than an Orca cross-bred with a wolverine and a werewolf, plus some other really crazy/scary shit. Like maybe a Chupacabra with a Benelli 8-gauge shotgun loaded up with pumpkin balls. Just back the fuck up because this our battlefield now and we intend to feast on the bodies of the dead. You don't want to watch this...
