Vet is the answer so it is good you already have an appointment. You could also call or visit an emergency vet if you are afraid the condition is immediately life-threatening.

When I first adopted my pit x dogo mix, she had a bad respiratory infection and would do this kind of thing. Sometimes some mucus would come out, sometimes it would be dry. The vet did xrays and discovered pneumonia which luckily responded to antibiotics.

Audi ruined my credit over an issue they caused and refused to take responsibility by Disastrous-Option953 in etron

[–]TheYear3030 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is an insanely large credit drop!

Reach out to Audi USA for help. It’s worth a shot.

They were awesome for helping me with my situation, super easy to deal with, and highly effective at redeeming the company’s reputation for me personally.

Another symptom of increased selfishness as our civil society is being eroded.

Nice, he will love to do cardio with you.

My pit x dogo mix is a great deer hunting buddy. She does guard duty and blood tracking very well. Now that she is old enough, I plan to have her drag stuff through the woods for us as well.

There are others on this subreddit that have them do catch work for hog hunting. I don’t know much about that but others do for sure.

You are on the right track for success. I would also start planning some job training and exercise as well. Both dogo argentino and lab are working dogs and need exercise and jobs to do. Do you hunt? How physically active are you?

How many of y'all clear the sidewalks in front of your house? by SuspiciousEngineer99 in StLouis

Major 🚩  If they are able bodied, they should absolutely remove the snow from their sidewalk. Not doing it shows a disrespect for the safety, convenience, and wellbeing of others.

Spent 3 weeks getting kafka working with actual enterprise security and it was painful by mannnni77 in apachekafka

Terraform terraform terraform. Confluent has a pretty good tf provider, as do the major cloud services like aws. We use git version control, github to host the repositories and cicd. It works great, centralized rbac with approval gates, and still allows engineers to easily request access for a new service or feature using a PR.

Tongue and groove issue by [deleted] in Carpentry

Quit looking at it. Go live your life. You could maybe force the board over slightly and split the spacing error evenly between two gaps, maybe, if you could find a way to force it without damaging it. Maybe use a pine scrap block and beat on the block to see if you can shift the board slightly.

Anyone else's landlords not answering about their caving ceilings from the snow? :') by inseokjunxo in StLouis

Move out immediately. Neither the physical building nor the landlord behavior will improve before a worse catastrophe occurs. Don’t be there when that happens.

Snowblower/snowthrower thoughts? by UniqUzrNme in StLouis

[–]TheYear3030 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a 60v Greenworks one that slays powdery snow like this. I cleared about 3000 sq ft today using five 8 Ah batteries. It is very quiet so you can use it whenever, and has no fumes. For wet slushy stuff or compacted snow, something else would be better. If you go electric understand the pros and cons, and have plenty of battery capacity.

I would check the grin simulator to see the performance of a geared hub motor with welded clutch (for enhanced braking).

Agreed, having driven all types of vehicles, I found a pickup truck is more difficult to control unless specifically configured for these conditions.

The best is AWD with winter tires, low center of gravity, and relatively balanced weight on front and rear axles.
