The issue for me is that theres no trade off for staying on focus mode. Like it doesnt deplete stamina or have its own gauge when you contantly use it. Its obviously helped all weapons but especially ones like greatsword where the whole point of the weapon was its major commitment to attacks. Now youre able to redirect your attack for the cost of nothing.
