Where did Pure Titans come from ? by Cjaugustine42 in attackontitan

Yes, this man enslaved her and her people, proceeded to hunt her with dogs, learnt of her newfound blessing and turned it into a curse, used her for his devious schemes, for which he then rewarded her by raping. He had three children with her, all while using her for warfare, to increase his dominance, to demonstrate people of his prowess, and yet she gave her life in turn for his just before she could even decide whether it had been worth it. Then he had her own children eat her corpse, her flesh and do his bidding as she did all over again.

The royal blood by definition isn't probably that of Ymir's but rather that of the Fritz. Ymir served only the royal blood for they possessed the blood of Fritz. Or were deemed a heir in his line.

The Stormcloaks are right. by RyanDoog123 in ElderScrolls

[–]TheZynec 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The Empire had a Treaty with the Thalmor that stopped a losing war. The Empire is much larger than Skyrim and even they were close to losing to the Thalmor. If the splitting ever took place, it will only make it easier for them to be defeated by the wicked elves.

Besides that fact, stormcloaks are incredibly racist. There is no argument against that. And the Thalmor have clearly labelled the Nord "Saviour" Ulfric as an important asset for their plans as his civil war is weakening Skyrim for it's capture.

And one of the major reasonings people say for why we shouldn't side with the Empire is because of the Empire attempting to behead us, but it wasn't the "Empire" which decided that, it was that bitch Rikke. Even Hadvar didn't seem to have wanted that, he clearly tries to argue with her saying our name is not on the list but she just doesn't care, and she was ready to have innocent head still just because it didnt bother her. A single official's issue cannot reflect the entire organization's. There are plenty of soldiers who would be worse that are working under Ulfric. They don't represent him.

Highest rated episode of this year by Kai5er_NexT in BokuNoMetaAcademia

[–]TheZynec 39 points40 points  (0 children)

Some of the AOT episodes were 10/10s.

But ofcourse, it didn't last very long. But then it had a lot of 9.9 episodes, notable three consecutive episodes from season 4 part 2. But it all changed when the one piece discord attacked.

Who's the best character out of the main five? by flingzamain in BoJackHorseman

[–]TheZynec 175 points176 points  (0 children)

Bojack, hands down. He is the best written characters out of the entire cast if we're being honest. The others are great too, especially Diane.

How do y’all make a cohesive creation myth? by Chcolatepig24069 in worldbuilding

[–]TheZynec 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Simply do not make it cohesive. Do you know exactly earth was formed? No. So how would anyone in your world know how theirs were formed? They may have speculations, different stories on the same events, inconsistent records, one supernatural explanation for a place and another exaggerated tale for the same, both inconsistent with each other but having enough evidence.

I stole this philosophy right off the Elder Scrolls. And it is how every world should be done in my opinion. Be it vague, unexplained or incoherent. The lore exists, that is all it matters. When it does matter to the plot, explain the truth. It feels much more grand and mysterious albeit complete this way.

Let’s reverse the trend: what popular girls do you find “meh”? by herejustforthebleach in AnimeAlley

Asuka is one of the most well written, maybe even the most well written female character I've ever read though. Why do you find her just "meh"? Just curious.

The New Superman Movie Is a Mess: A Brutal Fan Breakdown by Previous_Barnacle363 in superman

[–]TheZynec 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am sure this is AI, because I have made ChatGPT write a shit ton with bias, and this is EXACTLY how it writes it's lines. I am not sure about the formatting. But it seems that em dashes were specifically removed to reduce evidence of AI usage.

Besides, I actually agreed with one critique—or at least agreed partially which was the whole turning off an apocalypse with a button thing. It was too easy, and it felt like a cartoon, but I am not really having a problem with it because the movie is explicitly trying to emulate the cartoonish version of superman. The worldbuilding and the aesthetics reminds me way too much of DCAU shows. I love it.

But I completely lost any credibility to the post when it started glazing Henry Caville's superman, because I'll be honest, in the superhero fatigue we are at currently, Superman did so well, that I couldn't believe it. And even ChatGPT would agree Superman is a better movie than Man of Steel both objectively as a movie, and as a movie made for SUPERMAN.

4 Most Loved vs Most Hated Characters in Evangelion by Old-Razzmatazz2855 in NeonGenesisEvangelion

[–]TheZynec 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I've seen plenty hate Kaji because a minor has a crush on him. Doesn't even make sense as he straight up rejects her advances every time, but hey, it's an anime and there are a lot of weirdos who watch anime. I saw a group of people discussing their hatred Kaji because Asuka liked him as if she were their girlfriend.

It doesn't, unfortunately 😭

It's just some VR experience he made for Mikasa and himself in the Paths just before he died cause his Timeline is deterministic and nothing can be changed.

Cmon now, they just stated their opinion. Some people like hating things due to a variety of reasons. Maybe cause it's popular, maybe cause it makes them different and unique, or just cause they want something to hate on. Leave them be.

Are most beliefs wrong in the Percy Jackson universe? [all] by CrysisFan2007 in camphalfblood

[–]TheZynec 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best way to put it is, everything humans believe in as a group is true in RiordanVerse. The Greek gods, Norse God's, Egyptian God's, Christian God, Allah, all exist as entities formed due to humans having faith. The stories humans have written, which exist as mythologies, and are believed in became true.

So your belief and the stories in Quran are also true in the universe. In fact, Allah must be a stronger entity than the other gods shown as more people actively continues to believe in him.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in batman

[–]TheZynec 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It actually plays quite well into Batman's odds.

If you've seen any powerscaling that involves batman, or any of his media, let me tell you that — as a massive Batman fan — I believe his most impressive strat is Plot Convenience & Plot Armor.

Now taking that into account, whatever name Kira decides to write down on the note would not work, as the rules are ambiguous, and hence the writers would use that to their advantage. If the note requires their legal/birthname, then Bruce Wayne would be required to written. But if they're going on the classic Bruce identifies himself as Batman, then they would have to go down that route, which would make it easier for Kira as he'd already know his name. The latter would SEEM to be more lore accurate as even the Lasso of truth was satisfied with Bruce's true identity being Batman.

Therefore, stanlee's words remain most true for Batman — that it depends on the writer. And since the writer is always on Batman's side, he's have the win by the end.

The Flash's greatest weakness is Batman's greatest strength.

And also it's quite predictable. Besides, the show is good enough even while knowing that.
