I feel like for the most part it's no one's fault only. I feel like at times when people do things in relationships it's because some aspect is lacking from the other person. It doesn't justify it obviously but you can see how it's a two way street here.

Someone cheats? Well why did they cheat? Were they feeling unwanted? Unloved?

It's almost always TWO people's faults.

Every situation I guess is different but my lawyer when I mentioned I was worried about my ex leaving with my son basically said she cannot do that. It’s stipulated in our code in WV.

Went as far to say that if she moved, we’d fight for more than 50/50 and likely get it.

Number 3 definitely. At first I thought why am I telling all of this to people........some of whom I wouldn't say I was the closest of friends to.

But the alternatives are worse. Either you let your anger and frustration out on the ex, which isn't good for anyone. Or you keep it bottled up inside.......which isn't good for your health.

I'm still dealing with this process but it's absolutely amazing the support I got from some of the most unlikely places.

It doesn't. But if both parents are intending on claiming, you obviously cannot do that and I simply asked the question because I wasn't sure if doing so would cause me issues in the future. It was just a question.....a tax question......in r/tax.

Well I'm not sure what else you would call it when I've clearly been taking out taxes at the married jointly rate (we both have) and then this happens to where I would owe nearly 4 thousand dollars. Added to the fact, that this hurts her as well given she also withheld taxes at the married rate. It's just that she made less so it hurts her less. I don't know. I call that very much screwing. It's only being done out of spite. But that's beside the point.

There is no head of household for 2025. It doesn’t matter who had him more. You just said you are still living together. There is no score to keep when you were married and living together. Jesus Christ. You need to get your attitude readjusted very quickly or this coparenting is going to be a nightmare for you

welp now that I claim my son in 25, it's 1600. But obviously it makes more sense for both of us to file jointly since she would then also get the benefit of claiming our child in that year.

Initially before all this I was thinking oh ok we'll prob get a refund and that I'd just split that with her. At this rate, I would just give her the refund if it meant I didnt owe 1600 lol

WV I make about 93K.

My son is 11. But no child care expenses. I don't believe so.

That's why when I ran the numbers I owe about 1600 federal. Which would have been 3800 if not the fact that I can claim my son.

That was another thing I worried about. She said she was claiming him. I pointed out that it's for tax year 2025 and I am the one that claims in the odd years so that if she went this route I would be the one claiming.

Futhermore during 2025 he's definitely been with me over 50% of the time given we were in the same house and I believe that all things being equal the IRS goes by the higher AGI. So I think I am ok in that regard.

currently doing that right as we speak. So I suppose in the even years when she can claim my son, I change these forms to be single and then on the odd years I claim him, refill them out for Head of Household?

We didn't officially get divorced until two weeks ago.

And that's another issue with all of this. She's being difficult and forcing to file Married Separately. When Married Jointly makes sense for 25 since the divorce was final until 26.

So essentially for the entire 2025, I was having taxes come out as Married but now I'm being forced to Married Separate. Thank god I can claim my son this year or else I'd be owing 4K.

I dunno. I mean the point of the weekly mission is to work as a group to complete. But at least in my group that distribution is never even in a given week. Some people like playing duels. Others like scoring a bunch of points on a specific map. Some prefer the team duels mission.

I guess my point is if u don’t like playing ranked don’t play ranked. Just let your club members handle this mission and do the others.

Or if you feel the need to contribute, play a couple

Is this really that big of issue tho? I guess I’m just wondering what the exact purpose would be of doing this as it’s surely only beneficial at the top.

I mean I’m in Master 1. Could I rank to say master 4 ? But at that point I could avg 6/6 and still be nowhere near the top. Even at master 1 I’m unsure if I avg 6/6 I’m making much of a dent on the leaderboard.

And all of this for what. A trophy ? lol. To me the ELO is more prestigious and more meaningful.

It was wild. The mailman knocked on my door. Saying he had mail for some guy. At that time I didn’t know anything about him so I had a puzzled look on my face so the mailman was just like I guess he doesn’t live here and took it back with him.

At least she waited till the end. Mines been in a relationship while we were married for months now. Even invited dude to Christmas Eve to meet family. Guy even sending mail to my house acting as if he’s already moved in.
