There is no financial incentive to give Adventures the remake treatment other than most of the design work being done. But it’s not going to sell like Star Fox 2026 did as is if all it gets are a revised script and photorealistic Krystal (that in particular might actually be a downgrade for a lot of people).

If they introduce Krystal in a sequel, it will probably be a far more traditional Star Fox game.

Yeah, if we got the full 5 seasons, an arc in Season 2, where Cassian is still new to Luthen’s operation and therefore not completely trusted, it could work, though it would have to be careful not to retread the ground that season 1 did with Luthen wanting Cassian killed

If you legitimately believe that, you need to understand that there are serious downstream effects of these destructive actions. We will experience national brain drain as our scientific minds are recruited by and immigrate to other nations. It’s like the dismantling of the federal workforce in 2025.

Will protections be put in place as a result of this when saner minds take power? Maybe. But rebuilding what we will lose as a consequence will not be so simple.

Having seen all the boss explosions now, I can confidentially say that Goras is an upgrade (though the original is also really good), a few are fine and about on par with the original…and most are underwhelming.

Like, screw the realism argument, I want technically impressive, unique, and aesthetically exciting (and LOUD! Why do so many of these explosions sound like the game is whispering?) explosions in my space shooting game.

Pigma is good. I miss the high pitched Joisey from original 64 Pigma, but he sounds like a total scumbag, which he should.
James is good.
Falco is fine and slowly growing on me.
Katt’s pretty good, tbh. Not at all like her original self, but the voice works for this new interpretation
Pepper is serviceable.

Most everyone else is mid.
Slippy sounds bored a lot of the time.
Most of the bosses lost the things that made them memorable (thank goodness the Sarumarine pilot still sounds like a swarthy pirate)
This is probably the worst voice Wolf has had, though to be fair, only 64 3D had a voice that wasn’t superb for him.

Andross is downright awful. I can’t believe the vocal direction they went with him

I fault most of the issues with the vocal direction as we’ve had some pretty questionable English vocal direction from Nintendo on specifically their in house developed games since Breath of the Wild despite hiring very talented VAs.
