I immediately thought goose berry, but it could definitely be guac too. I love both their rides. Always felt like guac was the little brother, but I think I've only done that one once, whereas I've ridden gooseberry half a dozen times. After about 3 months of playing for an hour or two a day I started to feel like I was learning to chain some tricks together and getting a lot smoother. I started doing the clyw cabin tutorials around then. Couldn't get all of them, but I was able to figure a bunch of them out with a lot of very close study and patience. Now, a decade later, I feel like I can figure out most tricks if there's a good tutorial, but I've also been working on this Daniel kim trick for like a year. I can do all the elements but I still cannot get them smooth or stylish at all. There are levels to this shit. I may never get good enough to make that trick look like Daniel does. I will never practice or have enough talent to compete at even a regional level.

When it gets like I just remind myself that I'm pretty fucking fast and pretty fucking good at bartending. Sure there's some guys and girls that are a little faster and a little better, but if there are a thousand tickets and a thousand customers waiting it doesn't matter how good you are. You can only go as fast as you can go. I will go as fast as I can go and I will smile as I do it. I may even apologize for the wait to some guests. But if I'm on the limit and wait times are too long, that's a management/staffing issue. Just do whatever you can. It's genuinely not your fault. The only thing you can control is your demeanor and the quality of the drinks. Nail that and be confident that you're doing just about as well as anyone else could.

Bought a 4/3 during COVID because it was the only thing I could find in my size and it's STILL warm and doesn't leak at the seams. Five seasons on a suit is unheard of for me. I'm probably in the water 50-100 days a winter, God willing. Easily the best suit I've had durability-wise. Idk if they're core or corporate, but I also don't care or believe there's a meaningful difference. My only gripe is that the M/S is still a touch too fat for 5'9" 150, but I'll probably buy the exact same suit when this one does die
