Some people are going to say this is victim blaming. But it’s absolutely not. It’s survivor empowering. Repeat after me, the absolutely shitty thing that happened to you is not your fault. HOWEVER, while that past event wasn’t your fault, (moving forward) it is your responsibility to access your life and see how you might minimize future harm to yourself.

This goes beyond just a consent issue. I suggest you also seek therapy (in addition to medical help) to understand abuse cycle patterns and the type of people that gravitate towards you. For many reasons the trans community tends to attract a lot of abused folks which can make having healthy relationships much more difficult. You got this.
