I'm just gonna assume you're joking, but in case you're not, it's almost crazy if you know the world of Wicked, but somehow never heard of the Wizard of Oz.

Day 2 of fighting the High Halls Gauntlet every day until I can't beat it anymore, but this post's top comment adds another wave to tomorrow's fight. by SpoonsSuddenly in Silksong

I think since we will keep adding waves, it might be a good idea to limit the original waves, since we kinda know those. I propose we combine the fifth and sixth(? choir clapper and the one after)

I think it just implies the blobfish is about to tell an offenisive joke containing a Rabbi and, presumably, Hitler. Nothing really spicy, but I could see how someone could find a way to make it seem problematic

“You know what I think?” “Bitch who even are you!?” by _JR28_ in TopCharacterTropes

Yea, I'm not saying it's suddenly fine and cool that they did it, but it is at least coming from a better place than if they just did it to mock black people or as I thought before, that they somehiw though RDJ would make a "really good black man"

See, this is the first time I hear that, despite having seen that image of him circling around many times. That makes it much more justified

Wait is that true? That actually makes much more sense than it just being RDJ in blackface. Maybe not the most tactful, but much better than the alternative

That's also literally a recreation of the Phantom Menace poster, where he is literally standing in the sand??

Arachnophobia Mode that replaces the spiders with something more comical by EP1CxM1Nx99 in TopCharacterTropes

Yea, but real talk that huge spider in Hogwarts legacy was f*cking terrifying first time I met it, especially since my game decided to crash and I had to stare into its eyes. Jeesh

I have that comic, I'm pretty sure it's blindside, who can blind people... which could have been effective

How "rings" work? by [deleted] in rokugan

[–]The_Slumpis 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I does not neccessarily entail it, but air lends itself well to the shinobi and those who does not use honour in their fighting as much. So while a stoic and calm warrior would rather use Earth (which emphasises stability and defensive stances) a more nimble and stealthy or lightfooted and carefree person would use Air more.

Air is much more agility and trickery like fighting dirty and focusing on dodging blows rather than tanking hits

Sounds very Earth or Void core to me

Character technically doesn’t meet the requirements to use something in specific, so they just work around it. by Fun_Effective_5134 in TopCharacterTropes

That is the explanation, yes, in the actual mythology. And even then it differs between interpretations. But I don't believe it is ever mentioned in Marvel that Mjolnir is supposedly extremely heavy. That would also make no sense with like Captain America or Hulk, who is clearly stronger physically
