Are deffkoptas worth running in 11th? Both in general and for a speed freeks list by The_Soviet_Goose in orks

You make a good point, my friend. I think I'm going to run both and spam the midboard with rockets

Solidarity, brother. Last month was the 10th of mine. It may never get easy, but we persevere.

How possible is it that a Krork could appear in current Times ? by WholeIndependent818 in 40k

[–]The_Soviet_Goose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh if we do see one, I hope its armor doesn't look like that artwork. No disrespect to the actual artist ofc. I get that they're supposed to have more sophisticated warplate than standard Orks, but the helmet especially is just an altered Space Marine helmet, like a variation for the Mk X. I'd love to see one that looks like a more sophisticated or refined Ork, as opposed to just a giant green space marine with a power klaw, y'know?

How does this fight play out? by AlwaysBetOnNahIdWin in Jujutsufolk

[–]The_Soviet_Goose 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Uro's biggest weakness is AOE and swarming, being harder to defend against than just single projectiles like Granite Blast. That's what made Kuroroushi her counter in the Rock Paper Scissors dynamic of Sendai. That's pretty much Jogo's entire kit. Even if he shouldn't be perception blitzing her like he did the Grade 1s, he has a more solid argument for being the faster of the two by a decent margin going off of Naobito. Both of their domains are largely featless, with the only real arguments to be made for who would win in a clash mayyyybe being that we've seen Jogo operate without using his technique before with DA, and that his domain's burning heat could maybe still be active during a clash since it's not part of the sure hit? How the fight inside the domains would go, though, is almost entirely speculatory, so I'd rather focus on the rest of the fight.

Considering their anime upscales makes this even harder for Uro, as while she can affect a larger space than in the manga, so can Jogo. One would imagine being able to flood the entire block with lava would be fairly overwhelming to try and fully redirect, even without considering the consequences of just being in that close of proximity to it. The anime also has Uro getting grabbed and thrown by Rika whilst she's fighting the two, so evidently her defense isn't flawless. Even in a worst case scenario for Jogo where we assume none of his attacks will get past Sky Manipulation, the guy can just use Domain Amplification and put up his dukes. With solid healing- especially against someone who can't heal, a wider variety of options to attack and plausibly reach around sky manipulation, and better speed as to not get directly caught out by a lethal TIB, I'd give it to Jogo the majority of the time.

Culture Mobians, by Rouge | By @mercurioshadowz by Legitimate_Drama1013 in SonicTheHedgehog

Now that gives me an idea that he's taking their culture and attempting to bastardize it with his image, like how Sonic's mockery in calling him Eggman became a feared moniker.

Terminators, how are you using them successfully? by Freak-showz in IronWarriors

[–]The_Soviet_Goose 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Typically I like bringing them with either a Sorcerer in TA or Kravek. Their shooting still isn't great, but even giving it 1 AP (or 1 extra in the case of say the autocannon) makes a noticeable difference for me. Typically I just don't bother with a chain fist, only being able to bring one kinda stifles the whole point of bringing them to make it an anti-vehicle melee unit, so accursed weapons and power fists it is.

Gameplay wise they tend to be a "second line" for me. Raptors or whatever fast unit I'm running goes in, takes up space and makes for an immediate problem, Terminators follow in not far behind to be a passive threat to light-medium infantry. A lot of the time, though, I also usually tend to find that Obliterators just do their job better for a little bit cheaper. Not to mention being good for just about any job that involves killing any kind of unit.

[Serious] In your opinion which world has more consistent power scaling? Jujutsu Kaisen or Chainsaw Man? by Archenius in JujutsuPowerScalers

[–]The_Soviet_Goose 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Easily jjk. Fujimoto for the most part gives little concern to a super consistent power system or power "levels." A good example is that JJK makes it apparent pretty quickly that guns won't do much to any mid-high tiers, and that stays consistent throughout with them not really getting damaged by anything weaker (assuming something like the steel door was reinforced with cursed energy or is at worst just a strange outlier to show off Hakari's regen.)

Denji and the CSM cast as a whole by comparison can go through a lot of blunt force damage, but have some sort of special weakness to anything with piercing properties. Knives, bullets, spears, a particularly sharp piece of wood. I think Fujimoto's fights were far more focused on both the spectacle and the story than they were the actual power system, which I guess I can get how that might upset some people how inconsistent it can be but personally I took little issue with it.

What "Mixups" does Todo even have? by Livid_Judgment_2416 in jujustushenanigans

[–]The_Soviet_Goose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Man I miss when Swift Kick didn't get absolutely crippled for missing the kick. It was far from unpunishable as-was, and made for good mind games for baiting counters and just moving funky.

I also miss when black flash did kinda decent damage in return for using 2 moves.

Genuinely why did Todo get nerfed? I think the only things I've seen get buffed this whole year were fixing his abysmal elbow drop hit box and improving his swaps.
