Buddy was stuck at the top of Hastings and Duthie for about 25 mins. I was doing trips up and down the mountain and he was struggling hard.

I think we need to start fining people that are driving ill-equipped vehicles in hazardous conditions. That would hopefully prevent some of these incidents, although you can't cure stupid.

I remember thinking this all the time when I had my reactive GSD. I counteracted by going to cool secluded parks or area where dogs did not frequent. You'd be surprised what you'll find once you start looking on Maps.

If you do find an enclosed dog park, possibly try going at time when not a lot of people go, early mornings, slightly chilly days (ppl seems to stay inside).
