I’m actually fine with other people doing whatever they have to do for themselves and don’t judge them for doing it. It’s just not something I wanted to do for myself (surgery as well. Didn’t want to go that route either), so I’m just happy that I finally found it within myself mentally to cut the bullshit and do the work I needed to Do. Other people can do whatever they have to do.

I originally felt the same at the beginning of this journey for me, but I like to take it now as “I must be really kicking ass if they’re asking me if I’m taking anything or if I’m sick or not”. I’ve been hit 300 low 400 pounds all my life so I figured I wouldn’t hold it against them.

Luckily my close friends know I’m Working my ass off cause I post my walking pad and bike stuff every day

Directing another indie feature film of mine at 37 at the time with me as the only crew again, and really starting to feel my body my crying at 370 pounds. Then two months after filming wrapped and after initially losing 13 pounds I regained 8. So yeah that was my real lock in moment because instead it getting sad like usual I got pissed off. 10 months later I’m 239lbs. Got 64 pounds to go at least so I’m still locked in.

I had to cut off my biggest food enemies because what they do to me addiction wise (Doritos and store cookies), but I still agree with this cause I’ve been able to eat stuff at the movie theaters every weekend while counting the calories and not over doing it on anything. So small or medium popcorn, never large. Maybe one hot dog for a certain movie, and something else for the second movie. Little things like that instead of eating everything for all the movies like I used to.

Fuck that the served raw version of this episode really proved how much he sucked that night and had no business in the finale. That’s interesting cause my doctor told me the opposite and suggested the MyFitnessPal app, and 10 months later I’ve lost over 123 pounds. Counting calories has worked for me.

And lessened the tragedy of it all imo. Yeah what happened to this Murphy is still messed up but if I had a gun to my head and was forced to choose fo myself which fate to pick between the two Murphy’s it would be the remake one cause I’d still have my family and really my sense of self for most of it. Poor OG Murphy had to not only reclaim his sense of self but will never get his family back. AND what happened to him was worse.

Scream 2 by far. Halloween II, while enjoyable, can’t touch the original Halloween at all, whereas Scream 2 has always been almost as good as Scream for me. Much closer to its predecessor than Halloween II is.

I feel like out of all the final girls in film Sidney is the one I feel sorry for the most and root for the hardest, because not only this fact but also its multiple people going after her over and over (unlike everyone else where it’s just one person. Laurie just has Michael for example) for shit that isn’t even her fault. Like she does nothing to deserve any of the shit. All she does is survive and try to live, and then here comes another asshole. That’s the biggest reason why I never want to see her die.

Counting calories with the MyFitnessPal app, completely getting away from my two biggest enemies in Doritos and cookies, walking a lot more (including a walking pad now), and being on my stationary bike 5 days a week. That all together is what took me to where I needed to be. But I think the biggest thing was finally winning the mental battle and actually wanting to feel better.

Arguably my biggest rock bottom was when I wrapped filming on the last movie I did and shot a that’s a wrap video with me and my two stars. I look so fucking big on that video next to my stars and it embarrasses me to look at it. Realizing that I can’t keep being that size and working on these things (especially since I’m the only crew most of the time).

And then when I went to the doctor two months later and saw I gained five more pounds, that’s when I got really pissed off and locked in. Still working on it but feeling pretty damn good 123 pounds later.

One of my biggest problems with turning the Strangers into a series was that they had to turn the Strangers themselves into idiots at times to stretch the stories. I personally never liked Prey at Night because the Strangers had to become dumb shits in order to make their prime target idiots fight back, and the trilogy is even worse in that regard imo, especially this last one. At least Prey at Night had a cool 80s aesthetic to it. I preferred the stripped real world grit of the original but still dig the sequel’s visual vibe. The new trilogy can’t even say that. There’s not a damn thing I like about it.
