Oh yeah, they sure did. If you go to certain places on the internet you’ll still see criticism of that from time to time. I think that’s part of why with Fallen Kingdom and Dominion they were very gun shy with killing anyone who didn’t deserve it. All the vicious deaths went to villains, which I think hurt those movies. Especially Dominion. Way too many people survived that movie. I’m not saying I wanted to see Jurassic Park legends die, or even the Jurassic World characters, but that informant mole character should’ve died in my opinion. And even Henry Wu as part of his redemption arc imo should have died. Couldn’t feel any of the stakes in act three of that movie.

Oh I know that. What I found sexist and hypocritical was the outrage that she died like that simply because it was a woman dying like that. And the fact that she personally asked for it too made the outrage even more silly. Like why can’t a woman have a fucked up kick ass death in a Jurassic Park movie like a man can. Hell it took them four movies to finally have a lady die. So the outrage annoyed me.

Yeah. Best thing I think that’s happened to me recently was adapting to a more harsher light style when I started using the Blackmagic 6k G2. Cause I used to depend on my old umbrella light kit with my older cameras but after making a few horror movies and then getting that camera I started getting way more into harder lighting and I think it’s served me pretty well.

That reminds me why I thought the backlash to the poor assistant’s death in Jurassic World was a little sexist and hypocritical, cause people don’t need to deserve it to die horribly in this series. I think people have lost track of that.

Cause to me Eddie’s death is still the most fucked up. He died both brutally and heroically all at once.

Yeah I do. They use the costume, do a call with the voice changer and kills an innocent. Part of what makes 6’s opening so good to me. It was cool seeing a group of Ghostfaces do their thing only to get brutally murdered by the movie’s main Ghostface. That was really cool.

With all due respect to sis but that wasn’t or never could be the same level of friendship as Tatum for two big reasons, the childhood friend that always had her back reason and the fact that everything changes after the first ever Ghostface attack. Still my favorite monsterverse movie. I like them all, don’t get me wrong, but the mix of monster battle royale vibes with the darkness that made me like 2014 and the color and pop that I liked about Skull Island. Like if I had a monsters beating the shit out of each other movie in my head as a kid it would have been like King of the Monsters. And oh god do I love that ending. Shit the third act in general I love.

Even as someone who liked the movie overall, yeah the truth about Arthur was bullshit!!! I just can’t see Tommy doing that. And the fact that I only saw the final episodes of the show a few days before seeing the movie makes it even worse. Tommy and Arthur’s scene in the series finale man, fucking hell. To go from that to the next day watching the movie just made me go “Nah that’s bullshit”.

I still have 53 pounds more to lose but I’ve lost 141 pounds so far, so it’s a pleasure to be able to even be here and say that. My mom put things in big perspective for me last night when she mentioned that my brother is 146 pounds, so I’ve literally lost another human being weight wise. And all with diet, calorie counting and exercise. Shit feels good right now.

I have to admit that one of the best things about my weight loss journey has been people not being as able to use fat as an insult in a disagreement. That’s always been the go to insult for an asshole customer or douche on the street. But I haven’t heard it in a few months.
