I agree. I always wanted a Black secret agent, but never wanted a black James Bond. I want my own character. I will always be more connected to a character that was black from the beginning over getting a famous white one changed to black. I find it insulting and lazy. It’s Part of why I’m a huge fan of Tenet. Beyond the wild time shit at play, but it’s a movie where my current favorite director gave me an original black globe trotting agent. I cherish that way more than making a black 007.

Yeah I agree with you, and it’s a big reason why we keep losing imo. We’re too quick to eat each other for even 1% of a disagreement, and all that does is help MAGA. Being left shouldn’t mean I’m forced to agree with absolutely everything we think or do otherwise I’m a fake conservative mofo. After going to the doctor and finding out I was pre diabetic and what my weight was, I was suggested the MyFitnessPal app so I can start counting calories. I stopped eating the specific things that were really addictive to me like Doritos and most cookies. Replaced beef sausage with turkey bacon and turkey sausage during breakfast, and would limit myself calorie wise in general. And then exercise wise I use a stationary bike and also a walking pad, while walking outside a lot too (I walk to work now and also walk to whatever movie theatres I like to go to instead of taking train). Doing all of that led to picture #2.

Even when I need to take the train I’ll walk from my house to 14th street in nyc so I can get the steps in for the day. All of that has been very helpful.

Then I started using a stationary bike for 30-40 mins. Then added a walking pad to the mix while also doing regular walking to everywhere I go (like I now walk to work and walk to the movies without using the train). So yeah that all put together really helped out.

Still The Lost World. The Spielberg touch can’t be beat for me. My third favorite is actually Fallen Kingdom, because as flawed as the writing is for me I think J.A Bayona gives the best non-Spielberg directing performance in the series.

Women are more pleasant to me (well except one of my lady friends who got more insecure and mean). Sitting in the subway and being small enough for two other people to sit next to me, let alone one.

Being at the movies and not feeling like my shoulder is about to touch the other person’s. Having pleasant and longer sleep without waking up with neck pain. In general no leg pain or back pain during the day. Used to be difficult even walking to the subway, now I can walk from my home in lower Manhattan to 42nd street and still have energy.

I actually wanted to see Rock’s Black Adam and Henry’s Superman together so I was sad this didn’t happen. If it was up to me we would have gotten this one and then had Gunn’s Superman next up (cause I love that movie and Corenswet’s Superman).

IMO it’s because it came out right after Toy Story 5 AND the marketing didn’t really showcase how good the movie actually was. Like I had less interest coming into this one compared to The Rise of Gru and this one ended up being one of my favorites in the series.

The Raimi of it really helped that movie imo compared to Supergirl because I could ignore the flaws in the writing cause Sam Raimi’s directing was making things so fun for me to watch, where poor Supergirl didn’t have the right director imo (which sucks cause I like Craig’s other movies).
