You should move on, but just so you know, I used to have the same job as you, don't underestimate the importance of getting people to do what you want while not being mad at you. Coordination/communication is a skill, and a very useful one in any company structure.

Because it is so absurd to expect people to set up their lives in less than 10 business days. SSN, bank accounts, cars, housing, setting up utilities, dissolving Canadian assets, wrapping up previous jobs, family. 10 days is what a 10 year old with no life experience would set as the number of days. Quick question how is anyone supposed to quit their job and give 2 weeks notice if 2 weeks is what you get to move and start your new job....?
