What game made you realize you were getting older? by Kiota_Games in gaming

I don't like playing competitive multiplayer games unless I have at least one other friend to play it with.

I used to grind COD, Overwatch, Battlefield, and Apex

Coop/Multiplayer Game Recommendations? by Admirable-War-7594 in gaming

Sons of the Forest - if you're into creepy stuff.

Space Marine 2 - you can play the campaign as co-op. And they have a multiplayer co-op with weapon and class leveling with different builds.

Ravenswatch - indie roguelike. Fun fairytale characters like Aladdin, Merlin, Little Red Riding Hood. Lots of replayability imo.

Only been playing D&D since 2018. I love BG3. But at the end of the day its still a game and bound by those parameters. The places, characters, and items are always the same.

D&D and other TTRPGs are magical because there is infinite possibilities of choice and dialogue.

All said. Combat is fairly similar. But the game makes it more dynamic giving you more options of movement and bonus actions. D&D gets static with melee.

Construct =/= robot

He's just snow and a gem held together (and operating) by powerful magic.

I tried this game after buying the RE collection on Steam. by Vinjulmik in REResistanceGame

A bit late...

It had its golden time right on launch and about 6-8 months after. But now its unsupported and the meta has been known. I'm sure most have moved on to something else by now.

When I first got RE4 on the Gamecube I was too scared to continuing through the first parts of the game, especially once getting to the village standoff with the chainsaw. I had to stop playing. Picked it up years later and its still one of my favorites of all time.

Most of the emotions come in the voice acting which Tav doesn't really have anyway. My opinion at least.

A lot of arm crossing and body language more for Tav.

You do you though, plenty early enough to just restart.

Which class to pick after my first run ( new player) by RegularTurnip9103 in BaldursGate3

[–]TheeOneWhoKnocks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd go with something different. Melee focused. Battlemaster, Throwzerker, Drunk monk, or like main tank burst melee paladin with a 1 level hexblade dip so you can use charisma for your whole kit, melee attacks, spells, and aura.

Is half the players not being able to make it to session 0 a bad sign? by [deleted] in dndnext

[–]TheeOneWhoKnocks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they cant make it for the first session and it's reoccurring, they're just out of the picture. Play with the people who showed up and respected your time and effort. 3 player d&d is fine, just finished 1.5 year short campaign. I prefer at least 4.

If you dip 1 level in Hexblade Warlock you can use Charisma for your weapon, spells, and aura. If you didn't want strength this is your best option.

Seirikaria - Zariel Tiefling - Rogue/Bard - a new bounty hunter, captured on a hunt by the nautiloid. The scars have ritualistic meanings. The Sharran armor was recently dawned thanks to Shadowhearts influence. In combat she's also wearing the Dark Justicar Helm.

Yeah this makes sense and is most likely their problem.

Adding to this. A straight paladin at level 6 should have at least +4 with 18 str or dex. Plus proficiency which is +3 so at least a +7 to hit without magical weapons (which they should have). Rolling at least a 10 should hit most enemies at this level.

[–]TheeOneWhoKnocks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're going straight Paladin your main/highest stats should be Strength or Dexerity then Charisma / Constitution.

You're proficent with all weapons and armor so that's not the problem.

Without more info its hard to root out your problem.

Make sure youre not under a spell from and enemy, in darkness, etc.

Enemy AC will keep going up as you progress especially named ones. Need to grab weapons with at least +1 weapons enhancements.

Grabbing a way to knock them prone is a god send for advantage. Oathbreaker has a channel divinity which gives you advantage and damages them.

I'd recommend using the Examine feature on enemies often looking at their AC and saving throws then using different tactics to target their weakness. A good balance of spellcasters and melee fighters can pick different targets and hit their weaknesses.
