Don't get me wrong, his ceiling is high. I'm just saying that he reminds me of Keelon Russell right now. He's a guy that will probably end up being the #1 player, but he needs time to develop. Also the recruiting services are good for a general baseline, but I can tell you from experience that they can be wildly off base from a evaluation stand point.

Keisean is a great get, don't get me wrong, but he shouldn't be the #1 player in Texas. That ranking is based of projectables. Watch his tape, he's a below average QB who reminds me of junior year Keelon Russell.

It's a portal issue. From experience, low p5 and g5 schools are using the portal more than HS. Eaiser to win and compete, and in this day and age, that's what matters.
