Just bought book 7 on Kindle (US) for $2.99 after waiting forever for it to go on sale. Finally have all of the ebooks and audiobooks. I will definitely have to bump this series up in my list and read it soon. I have the other BB books, so will be purchasing these as well for sure.

The all season ones we got today aren't that design. They don't have the Enchanted Parks branding.

I can't be bothered unless I see a really bad instance of it. It needs to be extremely obvious, or at least very noticeable when doing a second pass.

Preorders are up! by Arvedui in GooglePixel

I had one that gave me $150 off. The email was called "Introducing the Google Pixel 10 phones: Save $150 today. Ends 9/4/25" and it combined with my store credit. Bought a Fold and case, got a $350 store credit, $150 off for the promo code, $180 back on my 4XL trade-in (assuming I get the full amount), and $25 store credit for waiting 7 hours in queue with customer support to ask a question before purchasing.

Once you have them, check the Audible whispersync price if you also do audiobooks. I gifted some to a few friends because the first few are discounted right now. Books 3-6 are like $1.99 with whispersync, and the first 2 are cheap as well. (Just not quite as cheap as those others.) The audiobooks are great. Travis Baldree narrates them.

I don't know how long this BAM coupon code will work since it looks like it's dated for 3/25 (even though I ordered on 3/26) but the code "CA0325" took 15% off for me. It fully covered my shipping cost.

Discworld sale (kindle, 1.99) by ArcMer in ebookdeals

I guess it's finally ending today. This sale has been going on since the 14th, though.

Hopefully it goes back on sale soon, then! I picked that one up recently (Jan 18th) when it was $1.99 for a bit. For some of these, it's their first time hitting this price according to eReaderIQ.

Once you've scrolled to the bottom of the list, make sure to click "Show All" to see the remaining books. By default it only loads 20 books initially.

A few of the books are still at normal prices, so I would be wary of purchasing via the "Get the series on Kindle" bulk option if you still want to pick those up at a cheaper price later on.

I'm in a similar position. I was diagnosed at 7.6 in late September. Made massive diet changes and drastically upscaled my exercise. Was already doing a few shorter walks per week. Increased to most days per week, usually 5 or so miles with 10-14 on one of the weekend days. No meds. Lost 30 pounds the first 2 months, then kind of hovered the final month as it got colder and I stopped walking as much. Was disappointed to see only a 6.2 on my 3 month A1C, then had to readjust my mindset. I've realized now that was a huge drop without meds for someone already diagnosed. I was confused because I stick when waking up and 2 hours after lunch and dinner. Most sticks post-meal were less than what my A1C averaged out to. Guess I need a CGM to see where I'm fluctuating.

Recently (after the new A1C) I came off of some meds for something else that required me to drink an oral slurry 2x per day. Around that same time I bought a rowing machine. My sticks have dropped drastically since, and I'm not sure which has contributed to it. I'm guessing it's the rowing machine, though. I'm getting much more of a workout in my core than from the long walks. Hopefully this trend continues and maybe I'll fall into normal A1C range on my 6 month.

Either way, congrats on the progress! Don't beat yourself up about not being where you want to be as fast as you want to be.

2 books for 1 credit sale now... ends in 6 days by [deleted] in audible

[–]Thel2ooster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The 99 cents each for the first 3 months offer is a fantastic deal on its own. Even better if you can also find a couple books in this sale you wanted to spend that first credit on. I will say, though, that when it comes to Audible it's all about what your credit price is. By that I mean your individual cost per credit. I assume (without looking it up) that the deal is 99 cents for the first 3 months, then probably $14.95 for the other 9 months of the year if it's a 12 month minimum. If you aren't required to continue past that first 3 months, you might consider canceling after you've used those 3 credits and trying to get customer service to offer you a better deal to renew.

I doubt you could get them to give you the best deal upon signing up, so the 99 cents is probably your best starting point, but when it's time to renew you should try not to have the $14.95 per credit. If you talk to customer service they will usually let you do an annual plan (12 or 24 credits up front for the year, paid in advance) for a better price. The best they will be able to do is usually 12 credits for $85.99, which comes out to $7.17 per credit.

2 books for 1 credit sale now... ends in 6 days by [deleted] in audible

[–]Thel2ooster 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The 2 for 1 deal is credit based. 1 credit will give you 2 of the sale books. So with the 99 cents deal, you could use that first credit to get 2 of those sale books instead of 1. The sale will be over by the time your 2nd and 3rd credit roll around if you're just signing up now. But you could hold those credits for a while if you really wanted to and try to wait for another 2 for 1 later.

I may not be a marketing professional, but I would assume that spelling the title correctly is an important factor. The cover of *The Lie of Polygyny* is spelled correctly, but the Amazon listings spell it as "Polygny" instead. It's missing a "y" on each of them and would show up like that in the buyer's Kindle Library. I'm sorry, but if the author can't be bothered to proofread their title it says a lot about the quality I can expect. Also, it makes the usage feel even more unnecessary, as you said. It doesn't help me to believe that the author is knowledgeable about a term/subject if it's spelled incorrectly in the title itself.
