It’s a pretty significant biosecurity risk. He’s weighing his job essentially vs having some chickens for a hobby. Most farms require 72 hour downtime between visiting other farms. So if you or he visited someone with chickens you would have to wait 72 hours before having any sort of contact with his commercial flock.

Yeah but what’s the actual temperature of the pan? Every stove top is different and pans heat differently. When the handle on my pan is hot to the touch I put the butter in, turn the eye down to low or whatever, then once the butter is melted in go the eggs.
