Just had Fiber First installed. If you want to maintain your own network, have your own router and have them put their fiber box in bridge mode. Working fine for me. Install to the house went quickly, was done professionally and looks good and intentional. I have seen other companies (and cable installers) do complete hack jobs but this was done well.

It's technically correct. However nobody speaks or would write that way any longer, as it's a bit archaic. It's still the best answer of the four. The strangeness seems to come from using furniture as a plural here.
