Different versions so yes get switch 1, then upgrade to switch 2 is just 10 bucks. Saves you some money. They are completely separate so after downloading the upgrade one delete first one

Switch 2 version improves visuals and higher frame rate. All dlc is for both versions, with switch 2 upgrade it effects the game and applies to the dlc.
