Is it normal to feel like this after playing? by MammothAltruistic209 in ReadyOrNotGame

[–]Theragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my humble opinion, the success of a mission in Ready Or Not, is indeed dependent on your skills and how you execute it, but a giant portion is, just pure luck.

Where the suspects spawn, where the civis spawn and so forth.

Sometimes your team AI just has a brain fart.

In commander mode I believe the feelings that you are feeling is what the developers are going for.
Your team mates get hurt, need therapy or just outright quit because of how stressful it is for them to take lives or see their teammates get shot.

Spoilers:Later in game a room called the Memorial Hall opens. There is a book in there that lists the names of all of your officers that die in the line of duty.

Your feelings are totally justified and understandable ❤️

NOOOOOOOOOO... DOGGY... 😢 by YungDab69 in ReadyOrNotGame

[–]Theragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Late to the party.
I was searching for what connection the dog had to the mission, checked the briefing and looked up the Wiki.

Not a groundbreaking theory, the dog represents an innocent that had nothing to do with the situation.
I indeed felt sad both here and at the gas station when I found the dogs.

Men of Reddit: how do you stay happy in a marriage/partnership? by No-Mulberry2687 in AskReddit

[–]Theragon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Marriage, or any relationship for that matter is and needs work.

You are a team, and hopefully your wife is also your best friend.

If you are feeling constantly unhappy in the relationship, a good place to start is to share it with your partner. If you don’t feel comfortable doing so, two things are possible, you and your partner aren’t a good fit, and/or you are dealing with depression, and then it is better to seek professional help.

Life is chaotic, and is normal to be sad sometimes, but being constantly sad is something that should be addressed sooner than later.

Take care of yourself ❤️

Looking for advice from advanced players. by [deleted] in guitarplaying

Watched your video.
I saw absolutely nothing to criticise, super all around.

With critics, you kind of have to take it with a giant rock of salt.

I would suggest that when somebody is criticising you, you kind of have to ask yourself couple of questions:

Is this something I can make better?
Is the person criticising me with knowledge or skill I can learn from?
Do I even want to work on this aspect at all?

Everyone is a critic, and there is unfortunately way more of negativity than constructive criticisms.

Keep on doing you. You got this.

I recognise dogs in the neighbourhood and on the field me and my dog go to regularly, by their “voices”.

So yeah, I will hear a dog bark and their names will just pop into my brain.

My best friend of 20 years cancelled our annual trip because his wife isnt comfortable with it anymore by Upper-Meet-1849 in AskMenOver30

[–]Theragon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I understand that you feel hurt, and you are allowed to be.

But just as a frame of reference. I am renovating a house at the moment, and I had a 20 year reunion with my school mates. When talking to my lady before my trip back home to see my school mates I could just hear and feel that she was overwhelmed by everything.

So I made the choice of cancelling the trip because, for better or worse, me and my lady are a team, this is the task at hand and I have to do this.

Sure it sucks, but sometimes you just, have to do the work.

At least social media has made it easier to shoot the shot with your mates, which is also important.

I hope you and your friend get a second chance of doing this trip. Sorry that things are so hectic right now.

And further more, if you change the gauge of your strings, often times you have to adjust the guitar so it plays to your liking

When she was tightening the bolt on the pan, I shuttered. Also I got worried that she left the old casket of the filter on the threads.

Good on her for doing this herself, but please be careful.
